Outplug Posted August 23, 2013 Share Posted August 23, 2013 I do believe R* discounted SF and LV from being in the base V, but it hasn't been said that SF and LV don't exist in this universe. Maybe it's possible that Rockstar have purposely said it's not in V and have never said anything about them in this universe because they are in fact planning to add the other cities in some kind of update (because as they've said, they're going to be adding new locations eventually, at least for GTA: Online). d3ex2 Posted August 23, 2013 Share Posted August 23, 2013 the map from the achievement icons is the full V map which consists of LOS SANTOS and BLAINE COUNTY only. I never denied it was still in San Andreas. What my comment was basically about is that we don't really know if LV and SF are still a part of the now re-imagined San Andreas. Len Lfc Posted August 23, 2013 Share Posted August 23, 2013 Think of it like this: GTA V is set in the southern part of San Andreas, whereas San Fierro is in the northern part of San Andreas, & Las Venturas is in a more central eastern part of it, or maybe even a new/different state if they are going for a more realistic setting. Because it's a game, all those locations will be separate maps, rather than one big one. No. If you read the Game Informer cover story from November they said it was their intention to do a proper southern California/LA rather than the small sketch like city in San Andreas.
