I don't think he ever claimed that all screenshots are automatically from PC only. The clearly touched up screenshots could be. However, the latest batch of screenshots are likely not touched up and console shots. After seing that screenshot of Trevor with the rifle that looked from Medal of Honor on PS2, we know that the graphics are not gonna look like the touched up images. Of course the grapich downgraded a lilbit, but honestly no one belive it will look like in trailer 1. I remember a lot of people thinking its next gen its nextgen. Get closer to them and they'll be higher quality. Exactly, it's a texture 'problem'. On the first one, your at a fixed ground angle, because it's a trailer and they were capturing the plane flying over. Ergo, the game engine has the time to create and show the higher textures on the trees. In the second image, it's most likely a gameplay shot (from a cinematic view) and the game engine has to show more surroundings from higher up. It's natural to have a lower texture visible from there. I just hope that the transition between the two states is well done, and won't create to much pop-up. Yep, same thing happened in IV with the shrubs/trees. Sometimes I wonder if most of the people on this forum have even played IV... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The second one is in game not a cut scene and powered by a PS3. So yeah... big difference there. If you thought the graphics on that first trailer is how the finished game would look while actually playing... well, you're crazy. Funny how there are two camps; one that says the final game will look better than the reveal trailer, and the other that says the opposite. Looks like the latter is right. Of course. it works that way for EVERY game that comes out. The first reveal/teaser trailers are all CGI, rendered on a PC. Then people are surprised when the actual game looks less amazing. The lack of common sense people have these days is so depressing. I can only hope that most of you are just kids who don't know any better. As it's already been explained, in the firs screen camera is on the ground level standing next to those plants so the best model is loaded. In the second shot camera is high up and a LOD model is loaded as in normal in all 3D games. Without LOD models the drawing distance in games would be 100 meters and then it would all be fog. Is it wrong to be a fan of multiple games? Truth be told, I've looked forward to, and look forward to GTAV more than Watch_Dogs. But the fact is, the graphics have certainly gone down since the first trailer. But I can understand the performance issues that might have hampered that version of V, though. Anyway, don't call me a "graphic whore" if you are looking forward to the next-gen ( you probably are ). Next-gen is a lot about the graphics. Also, understand that video games are a part of visual media. We look; we play. Better looks aids the 'immersion factor'. Of course, the gameplay should be equally strong, for it is a as much a game as it is a visual medium. With that said, the art direction of GTAV in my opinion is, impeccable from what I've seen so far. It is beautifully artistic.
