LotusRIP
That's what I meant about the graphics looking sh*tter and sh*tter in the other thread (which somebody didn't agree with). Just look at the greenery here
Paper Mario
On screenshots some things look like sh*t, but when you play it on your tv screen it will look beyond perfection!

UsernameNumber6
Source for that second screen? Also the first one is from a trailer, of course its going to be touched up.
Negan
Because the areas in first trailer were made when the map wasnt finished. They were made just for the trailer and it had to look cool so they could get sponsors for the game. Thats how the business works.
GTAIVman
It's the textures, not the graphics. And they don't look that bad. Maybe a draw distance thing. Get closer to them and they'll be higher quality.
twigs2001
Yea looks like they downgraded ALOT do you want 15 FPS or 30 FPS ? Not much difference between 15-30 anyway...i want 45.
Hotrodx199
To be honest i couldn't give two Sh*ts because gameplay > graphics. I'm going to be paying more attention about the elements and the free roaming and not some stupid graphics

d3ex2
One is from a trailer and one is a screenshot. You can't compare them. We've seen what the game looks like so why are people complaining? I honestly don't think these screenshots are accurate to be honest. I'll go by what ive seen in GAMEPLAY trailers.

Marty892
Screenshot was taken from bigger distance so, that's why it looks worse.
Shamrock910
The first one was a cut scene made on a computer, not powered by either game system. The second one is in game not a cut scene and powered by a PS3. So yeah... big difference there. If you thought the graphics on that first trailer is how the finished game would look while actually playing... well, you're crazy.

Funny how there are two camps; one that says the final game will look better than the reveal trailer, and the other that says the opposite. Looks like the latter is right. Argon
It's the textures, not the graphics. And they don't look that bad. Maybe a draw distance thing. Get closer to them and they'll be higher quality. Exactly, it's a texture 'problem'. On the first one, your at a fixed ground angle, because it's a trailer and they were capturing the plane flying over. Ergo, the game engine has the time to create and show the higher textures on the trees. In the second image, it's most likely a gameplay shot (from a cinematic view) and the game engine has to show more surroundings from higher up. It's natural to have a lower texture visible from there. I just hope that the transition between the two states is well done, and won't create to much pop-up.
