Hooch180 Posted August 23, 2013 Share Posted August 23, 2013 Hello. I'm trying to play GTA 2 via LAN. I'm using Windows 8 on PC2 and Windows 7 on PC1. I'm using 11.34 version of game (newest?). I can create server. Player2 can join. I can see his ping. I'm starting game and screen goes black for 20 seconds and then turns off. I'm trying to play via LAN. NO hamachi or other things like that. Regular LAN (Wireless, but that is not problem). When player 2 starts server I can't see his server on server list. Sometimes I can see it. But then he is alone on server and my GTA2 closes as soon as he starts game. What should we check? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sektor Posted August 23, 2013 Share Posted August 23, 2013 Sometimes it just closes if one system takes too long to start the game but you might need to disable UPnP on your router since that can cause GTA2 problems even on LAN. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hooch180 Posted August 23, 2013 Author Share Posted August 23, 2013 Thanks that worked. Now I have other problem every minute or so our game freezes for few seconds. Both computers are fast i7 PC.
