I look somewhat mixed if i have facial hair, Because of my facial features and head shape but i have blueish grayish tealish eyes its wierd But people would never guess im mixed unless i showed them my baby pictures when my skin was dark red that_guy2057_evilgrin.gif

Im just one of those people who you would suggest im part asian or something, I can pass off as part mexican if i wanted to

No but seriously I'm rather positive everybody somewhere along their family lineage have different races mixed together at one point or another..

Even though I'm white as a rainbow my great great great grandmother was a native American. Everybody is going to be of a mixed races. You might as well post a thread asking who has a access to the internet..

This. I'm southern Negroid mostly but I'm sure there's other sh*t mixed in there that's just hard to trace back for a multitude of reasons. If I ever get the spare money and time I'd like to get a genetic blood test to see what all is going in there. I'd like to know where the f*ck I get my wavy/curly hair from.

My momma's black, and my daddy is Puerto Pican.

In the interest of simplicity I'll say this is spot on for me.

Nope. As far as I know, I'm not mixed.

Also, the OP really wants everyone to know that he is, judging by his username.

25% Polish, 25% Cherokee Native American, and 7% Mahican Native American on my end, then an entire cluster-f*ck of European. English, Scottish, Irish, Dutch, and Russian, with no memory as to the corresponding percentages.

You are completely correct.

However, technically "races" don't really exist - they are based on mostly self-identified groups based on culture and geography. If you notice, there are significant variations between humans of the same race - for example, you have white people with black hair, and others with ginger etc...

The genetic differences which give rise to these variations are, most of the time, larger between people of the same race than some people of difference races.

Also, if you study human genetics by geographic area, you see gradual increases and decreases in various genetic markers over area - there are no sudden abrupt stops when one people stop and the others begin.

And finally, every single ethnc group was created out of the joining together of various peoples, who were in turn each created out of the joining of various tribes. If you think you are the result of thousands of years of endogamy from these ancient groups, then I am fascinated as to how you're healthy enough to exist.

Interestingly, ethnic groups themselves are also a highly dynamic thing, which can change, merge and splinter. Go back a mere 200 years, and only a minority of the people in France called themselves "French." 60 years ago, less than half of the Iranian called themselves Persians. And the once dominant ethncity in the Arab world is now being splintered - Arabs are instead turning to claiming they are ancient pre-Arab extinct ethnic group, like the Phonecians, Ancient Egyptians and Babylonians.

As for me, I am immediately descended from various Arab tribes - some Bedouin and some settled.

Though like I said above, each ethnic group is a mixture of many others. Arabs started out as a Levantine Semetic group (Arab probably being a geographic term - "Those who live in 'Araba"). The term and identity spread amongst the other Levantine groups and further a field to Semetic people in Mesopotamia and then Arabia (ironically adopting the identity relatively late). Also in Arabia, lots of mixing with East-African people occured in the South-West, and South Asian people in the South-East. Mixing with Circassians (from the Caucasus) and Turks also occured a lot everywhere too, as well as Europeans.

My mom is part mestiza(ilokana-italian), and my father is part Spanish from our Zamboangueña grandmom.

Though, I'm not certain, I might also have a Jap blood flowing throughout my veins as what my sisters said.

I'm partly chink(strangely, only on my right eye) and my father and sister are chinks themselves.

Haven't asked about him, yet as we haven't seen each other in a while(parents have been separated).

Well I'm of mixed ethnicity, not race. 1/2 white English from my dad, 3/8 Polish and 1/8 German from my mum. Apparently my surname has viking origins, and some people say I look a bit Russian, so maybe there's all sorts of stuff in my bloodline.
