That looks very, very good for a fictional sports car made real.

Based on a real sports car.

I feel all meta writing this....

Just got in from work here in NYC

So hold up...Rockstar is actually making a real life Banshee? With the help of WCC?

THEY ARE ACTUALLY MAKING A REAL LIFE BRAVADO BANSHEE.

I'm done GTA V is the God of games...

GTA V>G.O.A.T and I haven't even played it yet..

Edit: If they made a real life incarnation of the 1984 Infernus or Sultan RS this reality that I'm in would then be called heaven from here on out.

I think they should have took the old (and better looking) Dodge Viper GTS and modified it

That is f*cking amazing and Rockstar seriously needs to start its own car company.

Definitely looks more bad ass redone than original.

Yes! Could you imagine that?! That would be sick. I would only buy R* cars.

Absolutely. An older model would have looked way better, and just looking at how the Banshee is styled it looks more like an older late 90's car rather than a modern one.

Indeed. It's whacky, but hey, it's a great tie in.

If the original car is a Viper wouldn't that give Dodge more reason to sue over likeness if they happen to get butthurt? I mean dat GTA money, who wouldn't want that for any reason? It'll be funny if it turns out to be a 1996 Camaro or something.

1. Not too smart of Rockstar/T2 to do this without asking, now is it?

2. Pictures have already surfaced of it. It's a Viper (not this year's though; the barely older model the IV/V versions are based on).

All around, I think they did a very good job of recreating the car. The only problem I have are the wheels and their spacing. The rear wheels are way too far inset, and the front wheels stick out a tad too much. Make the rear wheels stick out about two more inches, and bring the front wheels in about an inch, and it would be golden. Any car customizer will tell you wheel placement/stance will make or break any car. This car is a faithful and awesome replication of the GTA IV/V Banshee, except the wheels are breaking it. I really think they should have gone with a different shop than West Coast Customs. They are more adapt to installing stereos and custom electronics and rims. Real fabrication such as this should have been left to another shop. I bet ALL panels are fiberglass, no real steel construction going on here. That said, I'd still love to win it and I'd rock the sh*t out of it, after a wheel swap of course smile.gif

I imagine this car has been in developement for a while, and in the case of R* contracting them to do the car, in turn, WCC let them use a very close approximation of the WCC logo for the LSC logo.

Have you only heard of WCC from Pimp My Ride or something?

WCC cut ties with PMR specifically because they thought the show was making them look like a joke when they're a legit car modification shop. That PMR crap is not what they usually do.

Nope. I am a legit car enthusiast. I know more about cars and the shops/people that build them more than any sane person should. And I know WCC work, not from PMR(Though I have watched all those), but from their actual 'legitmate' projects. While they are able to fab up some creative stuff, simple things along the lines of style are missing. Like the Will.I.Am Corvette they did. That could have been an awesome car, but they missed a quite few marks on details that make or break a car. You have fabricators and you have artists. Fabricators can make whatever you show them to make, but you always need an artist to direct the fabricators what to build. WWC has plenty capable fabricators, no doubt about it, but really no artistic vision IMO, so alot of their work is well crafted gaudiness. And that opinion is NOT based off PMR.

Rockstar Games motors cool.gif this Banshee is unreal a smaller sized Viper with a nice front end , its probably not going to have 800 HP but if it doesn't weights a whole lot it won't even matter...........

Why the hell would you want steel panels on a car like this? Hell I think even the actual Viper consisted of entirely plastic body panels.

Well said. All of Will.I.Am's "creations" are abominations that need to be killed with fire. The WCC guys are tasteless fools. Remember what Brucie said, "Player style is taking a $100K sports car designed by world class engineers and letting a guy from East hook modify it, so it's worth a lot less!"

Actually the Banshee was much more controllable than a real Viper would be. People don't realize how untamed the Viper really is; even professional drivers have a hard time controlling it.

Good point. I generally associate well fabricated cars to have been hand made out of steel or aluminum.

Then I change my position. Hopefully they used carbon fiber or some other higher quality materials. Fiberglass just always screams cheap or flimsy, unless it was built by Roth cool.gif

However, as soon as they release the details of how to enter to win it, I will definitely be doing that.
