Could have gone with a Prius turned into a Dilettante, or CRX into a Blista Compact. Both those cars sound cliff worthy, especially the Dilettante. Should've gone with a LaFerrari turned into a Cheetah Now that's a f*cking prize! Maybe a waste of a LaFerrari though I would seriously consider driving The Ferrari TheFerrari off of a cliff. I don't like the design, and the name is f*cking stupid. Also you seriously think Rockstar would put money into buying a Ferrari and then customize it? The cars I suggest are at least realistic! But yeah OT: The new Coquette isn't iconic enough to be an interesting candidate for such a conversion. The front looks too much like the real thing. It's obviously true that spending millions on a Ferrari for this would be ridiculous. The Banshee was the most perfect candidate the more I think of other candidates. I only think that white part in the rear light looks like junk. For the rest it's perfect. But hey, why would I even give a sh*t? I can't win it anyway. They also have a Motor cycle crew that does alot of their shows for bikes and cars. Man I'm wondering how they will market the contest. Wrong, there's a whole lot of Viper there. Pretty much everything apart from bodyshell and minor interior details are from the Viper. Mechanically everything must be the same, as far as I know they should still have the original engine with few minor tweeks to improve performance. Yeah you're probably right but I was thinking more of of a fiber glass clip on bodykit just like the Veilside's. I don't think those require chopping the frame do they ??? The feedback from Viper owners has been nothing but negative (aside from a couple of us who think it's neat, simply for the fact that it was made because of the game.) So, the first step towards these conversions selling would be to have a customer base willing to convert their cars... There is none, people buy a Viper because they want a Viper. Second option, people who REALLY love this Banshee would have to go out and buy a Viper just to have it converted. These people who really love the car are mostly younger gamers and are very unlikely to be able to afford the Viper, let alone the conversion... Therefore, no. A conversion such as this would NOT sell... The fact that the ARV on this car is 3x the cost of the 7 year old USED car it is based on is ridiculous, especially not knowing the history on this particular used car... MANY Vipers have been written off. This particular one was missing the emblem off of the front fascia. Most Viper owners don't debadge their cars. Most that have had front/side impacts are repaired and emblems not purchased/re-installed or are installed in the wrong spot... If someone had 180k and wanted to buy a 2006 Viper... They would spend 60k on the Viper and still have 120k left over to spend on whatever else they wanted. (Be it performance mods or anything else they liked...) I can pretty much guarantee there are no Viper owners out there willing to spend $120k on a body-kit to replicate a car in a video game. (Not to mention a car that is based on the car they are driving in the first place) As for people saying they are expecting performance tweaks to the car. They aren't needed, it's beyond dangerous enough as it is in stock form, even experienced/professional drivers have a hard time with it. I don't mean to come off like an asshole but let's be realistic here. The only demand for this car is from people who can't afford it. It's a gamers wet-dream and nothing else. Anyone who can afford it, are going to buy something WAY nicer than a 7 year old used car with a body-kit...
