D4 Damager
Lets say me and a group are planning a bank robbery… I may go into the bank as a customer just to get into position and only pull out my weapon once we get the robbery started… this wouldn’t seem as edgey' if I had walked into the bank holiding my gun from the get go… But wouldn't the people in the bank be just as edgy upon seeing a group of people who were in disguise walk in with their hands in their pockets? Not many bank robbers queue up, especially not bank robbers who work in tandem as a team... Yeah I get what u mean… I actually meant where you walk into the bank normally… without a disguise and only draw ur weapon out once the heist starts… So for example I enter the building while members of the crew are in position (outside/on the roof/wherever) once I enter I see there is a security guard heavily armed I stand near him in the bank… my crew enter the building at which point I pull out my weapon and take the guard out with him not having suspected I was part of the robbery… I think it would make heist more tactical… being able to go into the building and scope it out before hand… @D4 Damager, I think he meant just going inside to first see how it is (maybe before heist) and get in the best position for a fast attack Fair point well made by both of you. That was what I was trying to get across in my original post in this thread, that if it would be possible to have the public act more suspiciously around because you are carrying a gun then that would be a good thing. However if anybody saw you then the police would still have something to work on -- say an identikit or something -- if you weren't in disguise, so I would argue against that being an optimal strategy for carrying out a robbery. IDredMan
If you don't like realism, it seems like you play COD instead of BF. Dafuqhahah Im right aren't I? Face Through Desk. Hazel Mae
Real jobs not being in the game is a massive disappointment for me, i don't want to have to roleplay being a hitman or security guard. The actual jobs /career path for them should be in GTA Online where you get a salary / paid for completing hits or missions dedicated to whatever job you taken, so lame that you have to roleplay it and pretend to have a job seriously... This game is called Grand Theft Auto and not Real Jobs Simulator. Grand Theft Auto, it is in the name, is a game in which you are a criminal. You aren't someone with a regular job. Do you know how many jobs could be added into the game that are linked with criminality? Who said im talking about jobs like being a cashier or paperboy? Be quiet you idiot. Jesus, were you born in 2001? Get out of here with your f*cking jobs gimmick. It wouldn't be fun at all, and it wouldn't make any sense within the context of the game. Trevor is a psychopath who couldn't hold a job, Franklin already has a job with Simeon, and Michael is under witness protection and he's too rich to even need a job. Well if you're talking about GTA Online then there is a separate forum for that. Linky. If you aren't then there are already in-game jobs, is Franklin not already a repo man? Is Trevor not a drug dealer? I'll prepare to stand corrected regarding Trevor as I have no idea what he does to be honest, but apart from Michael (who already has a decent backstory) it is likely that they will all have jobs in the world outside of the main storyline heists. Jesus f*cking Christ. Whats your problem? If GTA Online to going to expand and run for years to come this will eventually be added into the game anyway, roleplaying gets boring after so long, why are you so against being able to have a job with missions that revolve around it? Surely getting a mission to assassinate someone online is better then "pretending".. You're bashing pretending while you're doing all this so you can pretend to have a job in a game? Why the f*ck do you think games exist? Because real life sucks. You spend 90% of your day at a boring job, if you wanna be able to do stuff. And you get 2 days off to actually go out and have some fun. Every other day of the week is just terrible, and if you wanna actually have fun on those 2 days you have to eliminate any chance of fun in the other 5 days. People don't spend 5 days a week working their asses off in a job they can't stand and just pretend to have a job in a game that's supposed to be fun in the other 2 days. SuperCrayon
I wouldn't mind if people were a little freaked out about it, such as made comments or just tried to avoid you. I also wouldn't mind if they implement auto gun hide that they had later on in the Hitman games where you would automatically hold a handgun behind your back as you walk past someone. Id like to see that here.

Istoned
I work at McDonald's in real life,so I would f**king love to pop my gta v into the ole xbox and flip a few burgers at burger shot. See were I'm getting? R* does a great job at creating these virtual world but there's a line you cant cross and I think in game jobs, gas, and simple traffic laws is taking that line and giving it a big f*ck you. I don't know but I think rockstar know where that line is and has done a good job not crossing it in the past. On topic though, I think the gun out in public would be a good ideal. Didn't the game informer article mention improved police a.I.? Off topic: typing traffic on the damn phone makes me think how weird the word traffic is. Shouldn't it have a k at the end? Like lick?
