What has indicated this belief? Why do people think that? I haven't seen anything that suggests they won't get along. Maybe Trevor helps Franklin at some point of the story (I don't know, i.e, the ballas wants to kill him). It would be like Sweet and CJ. In the real-world, you don't often see people like that forming friendships—not that it doesn't happen of cause—but more often that not, people base their views on how the world works. I actually think Trevor and Franklin will get on pretty well.
