Brad54s Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 (edited) high in-game. i don't understand how or why it would be fun. im almost positive that 95% of the kids that play this game have never even seen bud. im not hating im just saying i dont get why people want to smoke virtual weed. take a few tokes real life of some nice bud and play the game. it will make your experience more enjoyable. all im seeing topics of now-a-days are smoking weed .... NICE BRO, have fun being virtual high, while im smoking this blunt. i understand that it brings a sense of realism into the game but i dont like how all these kids are posting topics about how stoned they are gonna be with franklin. note: i understand if it affects gameplay fine. but i dont see how rockstar is gonna pull this off. i mean smoking doesnt affect a person that much, i remeber when i was 12 thinking bright colors everywhere f*cking robot unicorns coming from the sky, because thats how it was portratied in movies. but no. it doesnt make that much of a difference in real life. this topic was made for the sake of the forums, im sick and done of seeing weed topics. so mods if you wanna lock this go ahead but it wont help the forums if you do. It's just a cool feature just like with the realistic steak what's the point of eating virtual steak when you can eat one yourself? You get what I'm saying? Kids won't go out and think they are Tony Montana and gonna be living large doing coke. Think about this too, I'm 22, when I was growing up, almost everyone I knew smoked weed. That said, I'm well aware they're going to find a way anyway, but then we should blame their s****y parents for buying it for them. It's like sneaking in your kid to an R rated movie, and then biatching afterwards how the content was inappropriate for them. And I think people just want a distinct, Cali vibe in the game, of which weed is very much a part. Plus I'm sure people are curious to see how R* visually re-enacts the symptoms of being high, like they did with the blurry, bouncy screen when drunk in IV. It makes no sense to me to add something pointless like smoking weed, but then ignore something that could potentially add to the gameplay like a drug dealing system. If its just cosmetic, it will be a pointless feature and I would rather it not be in the game as it will just influence the kids to be more obnoxious than they already are.
