Hard copy all the way.

I don't even understand what all the craze is about with digital.

You pay the same even though they cut package costs.

You are at the mercy of PSN and XBox live being up.

It eats up your HD.

It kills the game collector hobby.

You cant sell it.

I would prefer digital if the rest of the stuff got mailed to me, because i like having a physical map to look at.

I have pre-ordered the CE edition for xbox360 but i plan to switch to PS4 and get it on PC so will need to buy it again a couple of times anyway. smile.gif

Hard Copy, it'd probably take me longer to download than finish the story with my sh*t Internet. tounge2.gif

Should be a crime buying only a digital copy.

Its GTA tradition, to read the booklet/Tourist Guide while taking a sh*t, and then go over the map as the game installs.

In addition to any other nice goodies you might get with it and have to spend time with tounge.gif.

Hard copy for me. I always buy new games in disc form. It's more reliable and plus I just love having the case and all that crap.

I always get hard copies. They come with cool instruction manuals, maps, and neat cover art

Yeah theres just something about having a case, it'd be weird to play gta without taking the disc out of the case and physically putting it in the tray

Yup, I'm in agreement with you there. I know this is the way it's heading and eventually, the way things are going all games will be distributed via digital delivery but I'd rather own a PHYSICAL copy of my game, with a cover and a disc. Call me old fashioned but as an old-timer who has bought his games this way since the Atari 2600 days it's just what I'm used to.... biggrin.gif

If the digital copy was way cheaper, then probably.. but since it costs the same as the hard copy (both about 60 to 70 Euros) there is no reason for that. Especially since the hard copy got physical extras as well (map, etc).

Hard copy all the way. I like to display my collection. And I don't see the point with digital games. Takes too long to download, uses up a lotta space on my little 120gb ps3, and is not fairly priced. They should be able to give digital games at a discounted price because your not buying anything physical and production costs should be less on digital gamesm

now i'm really confused about this one. some people say there are technical advantages of digital. like streaming data from harddisk is going to be faster than streaming from bluray so some textures load faster when digital eg... any thoughts on this?

Well, even though Rockstar have been touting the PS3 version (due to Sony paying for a lot of GTA V advertising), it's only the Xbox version which can be fully downloaded to your hard drive from disc. So if you have an Xbox & a decent sized hard drive, you might want to consider doing that. Best of both worlds.
