With Limit Adjuster GTA III and VC crash when loading save game or starting new game. If I just copy the three LodLights files (.dat, .ini and .asi) it shows no effect. :( I've tried both main directory and mss folder and I also have the latest SilentPatch installed.

I tweaked nothing at all, objects disappear with default settings. I'm still having this problem, if you could help that would be great.

about disappearing:
patch gta3.exe by https://ntcore.com/files/4gb_patch.zip

open OLA.ini

and set MemoryAvailable = 80  for gta3

use this opcode , put it into plugins folder of cleo

ok , skip cleo part , do 4gb patch and tweak stream memory by ini

80%?! That'd only make matters worse on an 8gb+ system... Just set it to 512 (no % after it, that way it's 512 mb) and tweak it from there until it's fine. Setting it to absurdly high amounts only causes the issue you try to solve.

Pools of light removed: RenderSearchlightEffects = 0.

As for the disappearing objects, could you PM a small video of the issue or describe it in more detail (what exactly disappears?), since I see no issue in that screenshot.

Is there a way I can remove the Draw Distance Changer completely? I set the value to 0, but it doesn't work.

Here's what I want to know in regards to LODLights exactly; is sun size the only factor (all game files) that determines the amount of ' sun brightness ' radiated?

 

I'm using SkyGFX in order to recreate all of the PS2 features, one of them being that awesome sunlight. As soon as I install LODLights, that amount is substantially reduced, so what I need to do next is to increase the sun size which will bring somewhat the same amount of it back. But, here's the problem; as the in-game day passes and with sun reaching its apex and as well for the most of its journey down the horizon, that amount of sunlight simply becomes way too freaking much. It becomes almost unbearable to look at, way too white and bright. So, setting the bigger sun doesn't completely solve my problem.

 

As far as I know, setting higher draw distance is what could be the root cause, but then again, decreasing draw distance to 400 and keeping the sun size at default 20 still reduces the amount of sunlight emitted, and bottom line I end up having neither one of those, draw distance nor sunlight. 

 

So in short, is there a way to keep the original amount of sunlight produced by SkyGFX, but at the same time keep draw distance increased - not beyond 1000 to 1100 which is enough to have pretty much everything visible inside the cities - with something else tweaked besides only the sun size?

Set draw distance in timecyc.dat along with sunsize (adjustable in timeblocks, original game supports only 8 hrs to define by default, use 24 hr timecyc if you require every hour to be defined) and remove the drawdistance changer lines from lodlights.ini. However adjusting drawdistance and sunsize from timecyc.dat will cost you some time. To view changes immediately in game use an in-game timecyc editor.

I use some ped replacers in GTA VC which makes the game has troubles loading the set sometimes. Everytime I load my latest save with 2DFX i get the unhandled exception c0000005 at address 0055f653

I have a problem when using Project2DFX with the Xbox Version HD Mod. When I play the game for a while it becomes buggy, some textures and models won't load, also when I exit to the main menu it all becomes white and after this point the game just exits or goes black (and I have to kill it). I guess I'm reaching some kind of memory limit. Is there a way to fix this?

you need to use some kind of steam memory fix . I think 
For me i use Fastman limit adjuster to adjust the steam memory
