Single Player or GTA Online 'first' ?

I'll complete the game 100% first and after play the Grand Theft Auto Online (Xbox 360)

I'm going to play the single player first and finish the story. The single player is a huge part of the game, I never understood why anyone would ignore it, seeing as it's not just some 4 hour Call of Duty campaign mode. I won't go online and play with others unless it's a private match with friends.

It'll be Single player first for me, then GTA Online after I finish the story line or just when I'm fooling about on Single Player and decide to jump online. Probably develop a crew with a couple friends or just join one automatically.

I don't understand why people say that those who jump straight to multiplayer aren't "true fans". So what, instead of exploring alone I want to explore with friends? I'm most likely going straight to multiplayer, if my friends do, then I will play single player most of the next day.

This is a tricky one.

With GTA IV (and RDR), I did not go online before I had everything unlocked.

But now, the entire area is playable so there's no restrictions for online adventure.

 

So most likely I start the single player and at some point start going online for races and stuff.

And actually that answers the question.

 

First single player for at least few missions.

Single Player first for a few missions and general exploration, then jump into MP Free-Roam and test the water there.

I'm most likely gonna play the single player first, than probably play the multiplayer afterwords. But, I'm only gonna play one mission in the story first. Than go onto the multiplayer.

I'll play some Singleplayer first.. Bit of the story and some Free Roaming and then hit Online Free Roam with some friends..

Of course story mode, to learn the basics and do like a bunch a mission until I get stuck on one. Then I'll move on to MP.

I couldn't remain alive for more than a minute in Deathmatch in GTA IV Multiplayer even after Completing GTA IV Single Player

Surely Same will happen while playing GTA V

Single-Player at first with a few buddies in a party, then maybe try free roam out the same night and go deep sea exploring at night.

 

Can't f*ckin wait for this game, my hype level is thru the roof right now!

I'll probably watch the opening credits and cutscenes, then maybe do a mission or two to get a feel for the world. That should take about half an hour and then I'll create my online character and take him for a spin.

 

I'm looking forward to the online aspect of the game more than the single player, to be honest. It's a better challenge to put yourself up against real people than AI, and I want to explore Los Santos as myself, rather than M,T or F. Furthermore, you can talk to other people who have just got the game too.

 

I think it's going to be a great social experience, and that's nothing to scoff at.

I'm 100% sure that I will play through the story and do other things before going on GTA Online. I'll probably take my time with the story too as I want to really enjoy it then I'll do a few days of messing around and exploring everywhere to the max so I get to know the map a bit better for Online.
