The Feeling that you wont experience....

I'm trying not to focus too much on this game. I'm trying not get get too invested, and I'm trying not to place all my eggs in one basket, so to speak -- it's difficult, but I'm trying.

 

I just don't want to be let down when it comes out, and I also don't want to have a feeling of "oh, this is what I've been waiting day in and day out for like a crack addict for nearly two years".

 

 

That being said, thank God football season is starting up, that will be enough to distract me.

I'm actually not that hyped for this game, which is actually a good thing for me because I don't want to be TOO hyped. The last time I was really hyped for a game was with Assassin's Creed III, and that game sucked ass.

My hype for this game isn't as high as it used to be. I don't know if I'm subconsciously making myself feel this to avoid disappointment or it's due to the long wait we have had. Maybe both.

 

I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 remix before GTA V that's out on the 12th of September. Kingdom Hearts is one of my favorite games of all time and to have the final mix version and Re:Chain of Memories avaible in the UK for the first time is something that awesome. Once GTA V is finally here I'll be looking forward to the next game on my list and that will be Batman: Arkham Origins. The Arkham series has made me fall in love with Batman games again and it's out on my Birthday(October 25th) so that will make the day even more great. Although I'll probably be to drunk that day/night to play it.

I remember I got IV along with my ps3 in june and I played it all summer. And I mean played the story over and over again, I've beaten it 6 times or so by now. Before you call me a nerd, I barely play games nowadays. But anyway, when V comes out, I'll be busy playing it for 3 months non-stop, and then I will be getting the ps4 which is plenty to be excited about. But even then, I will play V on and off for a few years, and there's plenty to be excited outside of games, there's movies, and above that real life, so I'll be ok. Plus, the next rockstar game, which will probably be only a year or so away from V, that will be exciting. Red Dead Reloaded or Agent, hopefully.

 

So no, not sad in the least bit about this.

My hype is like a roller coaster. It's what makes the wait bearable. My excitement was at ridiculous levels until a couple of weeks ago. I would come on here daily and read stupid threads. Then my excitement leveled off a bit because I was running on a crazy level of hype, but it declines a little bit if you can't actually play the game. That's where I'm at now. Vacations help to take your mind off GTA V. It's nice to have a day go by and not think about the game. It feels like yesterday when there was 60 days left, now all of a sudden there's 35 days left. The time really is flying by. Don't keep thinking about it, or else it will feel like eternity.

time is flying by, i remember when we where at 100 days, i had the countdown on my phone and i just kept thinking, there is no way i can make it to september without going crazy. but now look, august

Well if you are aware of the band in my signature I am just as pumped for there new album as I am GTA V so V will be a good way for me to keep my mind of the album and make the wait for it more bearable. If anyone else here is an A Day to Remember fan you will know exactly why the wait is so unbearable at this point.

Oh man ADTR is so sick, Alex and Niel are my boys, every time they come to my town we light up some spliffs and kick it old school, no joke they are probably one of the nicest bands you'll ever meet. Very nice to meet a fellow fan brah

I'm more hyped about Splinter Cell Blacklist right now... As it is much closer to it's release. My hype will go up for GTA V once we'll be closer to the release...
