nickmajfc Posted August 11, 2013 Share Posted August 11, 2013 Guys, i feel like doing a little "HYPE" series to get us Hyped for the game. I guess we can call this Thread 01 in the Hype Series. Iv'e decided to call this one: *Predict The Opening*. What im asking you to do, is in an ordered list, tell me how you think the game will open up, with the intro, which character will show up first, will it start off with a mission, will we be given money to start off with.. etc.. Let me know below, and if this thread gets off to a good start, ill think of a Thread 02 topic for the future. I may aswell add in my opinion with my opening list. 1. Game opens with the traditional GTA intro followed by the vintage "Save Game" font down the bottom and then the opening mission name. 2. Then we will get our first glimpse of the GTA World, which i believe will be some sort of cut-scene involving most likely Michael. 3. Then when the cut-scene is complete, we first use Michael, and are told to drive somewhere. We are i HOPE given lets say $300 cash in the pocket, with his bank account holding much more, as he is rich. Obviously the game probably wont work like that, as he will likely just "Carry" all his money in his pocket, but i can only hope its realistic. 4. As Rockstar have stated, the first missions will be as if they are full on in the middle of the story, so im going to guess we kick off with a smaller heist. 5. After we complete the opening mission, as usual, i think we will get to walk around free-roam until we decide to go to the next. 6. I dont see us getting to use Franklin or Trevor until slightly later in the story, although, we could meet Franklin in the first mission, Trevor, i doubt it. I kinda hope so, but i dont think we will, it's a little too early perhaps.. Although, they need to introduce the switching buttons etc... so maybe at the start.. For a lot this will be their first GTA. I think a heist will be within the first 5 missions though. Havent R* already said though that the first mission will be different than the first missions we normally have which is just basically drive from point A to point B. I think the first mission might be a getaway of some sorts but also think that R* would make the getaway of a robbery (or similar) incredibly easy for people who have never played the GTA series before. Then cuts to Michael talking to his therapist, then leaving and heading home on his bike. When we get to his home we are introduced to Michael's family with Amanda and Tracy arguing in the kitchen, and hearing Jimmy swearing loudly about his video game. I think we get introduced to Michael first, then we move to Franklin where he and his friend ask where "Roberto Beach House" is. Michael points it out to them, and they somehow meet that way. Then, we get introduced to Trevor who will be surprised to see Michael back in town, and from there, Michael will introduce Franklin and Trevor to each other as "his best friend" and the "son he's always wanted". This will most likely take course through a minimum of 6 to 7 missions. Because we'll have to get accustomed to Franklin's story before he meets Michael (seeing as he was with his friend while they met him). Trevor, on the other hand, we may meet before we learn anything about his back story -- since he seems not to really have a deep story line attached to him. Cinoy Posted August 12, 2013 Share Posted August 12, 2013 Game opens with some humorous stuff and typical california lifestyle scenes... then something goes really wrong, like Jimmy takes michael's car for a joyride and ends up being chased by cops or something, so we have to help him escape etc.. but the first mission will most likely be an epic mission for a silly reason(not a robbery or something really serious). R* will fill in that gap of the story while the player plays it out or watches a video of him making the deal. Trevor is an old friend of Michael who lives in LS and Franklin starts with his own story line and meets Michael somehow a little later in the game. I got this idea when I saw the screenshot where is he and cops arresting some criminals in the background and he really gives the feeling of a cop in my opinion. After switching to the online mode , player will be ask to put a exclusive/separated(other) disc in order to play GTA ONLINE. with increased played cap to 24 player , racing game mode are more realistic than before. Crew preview , and how it work and how R* Social Club will be more lively than ever. Crew suggestion from fan - dadadadada(this is the biggest surprise) lets hope so. davetopper Posted August 12, 2013 Share Posted August 12, 2013 The game starts, the R* logo, yet another one, and maybe a third, a big screen of blah blah and a mention of my typhoid, diphtheria, meningitis, or was it just my sciatica? No bother, anyway..... Opens with Michael getting up in the morning. He goes to the kitchen and pours a bowl of cereal ( saw this in a dream ) he then hears the din of his family over the cornflakes ( The Police reference in their somewhere ) and looks at his life and where it's going and decides to see his therapist before it gets out of hand. It is after he sees the doc that he runs into by happenstance a young black gentleman in need of a new direction. And so it goes. How does it end? Michael see's the therapist again and after hearing about this in game year of, well, whatever the hell they do he states "I think you need a new therapist". Closing credits.
