rays727gta
Is there a game that you did want but did not like it. So you did like it but you didn't like it at the end.
AceRay
When I first played Drakengard about a month ago, I didn't like it. I played it again yesterday and I'm really liking it. But f*ck flying that dragon though. There's probably more, so I'll come back to them.
Nlwt
Wasn't a fan of Bully when I first played it. Once I'd done a few missions and classroom tasks and was allowed out of the school, absolutely loved it and it's still one of my favourite games. Vanzant
Well, I got Final Fantasy for NES when I was a kid and even to this day I think that game is a f*cking waste of time. I thought the same for all RPG games until I played Mario RPG which at it's released I thought would be boring but I liked it.
trip
FallOut 3. Got it day 1 for PC and didn't even make it out of the vault. Tried it a few years later and loved it. Alan Wake. Picked it up at full price for the 360. I may have played about 1 hour and put it away. Thanks to Narcis_speed I got a copy for PC and loved it. Sneakerhead.
Battlefield 3. I got it because a friend suggested it. It was my first serious FPS, I hated it, I would always get killed and I didn't know how to upgrade weapons. For the next 3-4 weeks after getting BF3, I used the story mode as practice. It was then, that I thought I was ready for multiplayer. I actually did decent in multiplayer, but I was nothing special. It was only until I made my "GTAction99" PSN account, that sh*tm got serious. I got the DLC pack with the DAO-12 unlocked early, and in that same day, I went from LVL1 to something like LVL10-LVL12. Over 16,000 kills, tens of thousands of points, many dogtags, many achievements, different environments, 50+ Colonel levels and many rewards later, I still have my DAO-12 by my side. Thanks to BF3, I have come to realize that the FPS Genre can actually be very good.
Woody112
Manhunt definitely took a while to grow on me. And The Last of Us is still going through that phase with me. There's a good game there, somewhere.
LibertyKing
The Sims 3 on PS3. I played the game a lot on PC and I thought it was too similar on PS3. After quite some time (I got it in 2010), last week, I thought it wasn't so bad finally. Sucks that there is a building limit, because usually I play The Sims more to build houses, not to "create myself a life because mine sucks". @OP: Oh, you're finally sober! Johan
RAGE, seemed interesting but didn't like it... and I only managed to play an hour before I gave up. Still hate it.
vertical limit
Skyrim. While I was still in the early levels of the game, I found to be very boring and buggy/glitchy. My friend told me just keep playing it and guaranteed that I'll like it. Which I do.
Piggsy pls
I thought Manhunt was boring at first, now it's my favorite game. Same with Bully.

The-King
I remember when I first tried WoW I absolutely hated it, I had just gotten my first machine capable of running games and I just couldn't get into it. I was playing Eve simultaneously and loving that so WoW just didn't do me at all. I tried WoW a couple years later and absolutely fell in love with it, still one of my favorite games to date with some of the best memories I've had gaming. |PropagandaIncorporated:|: Steam:|: DeviantArt:|: Last.FM|
Mitsuha
Minecraft. At first I thought all you have to do is to place blocks(and break it), but after I watched/read some tutorials, I got really addicted to it.

At first I thought all you have to do is to place blocks(and break it), but after I watched/read some tutorials, I got really addicted to it. Something similar here. I had seen a friend playing and I thought the graphics were terrible, there wasn't much to do and so. Tried it and hell, I got hooked to it so quickly
Creed Bratton
Witcher 1. I tried to get into it twice in the span on 2 years. It bore me to death. Then after The Witcher 2 release date was announced and it looked like a good game, I decided to try it again. I couldn't stop playing it. Suddenly it was freakin' awesome. In fact, I want to play it again every time I remember it.

Theodore93
I loved Oblivion from start to finish but Skyrim pissed me off to no end in the beginning. I was so disappointed at how frustrating and unfair the gameplay seemed that I almost gave up on it. I stuck with it though and once I levelled up a bit I started to love it just as much as Oblivion - if not more. Battlefield 3. I played the campaign first and felt it was a poor man's Modern Warfare. Once I started playing online, my opinion of it improved considerably. Zancudo
Dark Souls. Once you get a grip on the game's mystery theme, learn how to play and what tactics to use, as well as understand the meaning of 'fair-play' in this title, you'll get into it. It's really well designed.
Red XIII
I was looking forward to State of decay but when I played it I really didn't like it. Normally I don't care about minor technical difficulty's but the performance was real bad. I didn't like the camera angle too much either but saying that I am going to force my self to play it for an hour. I played the pre patch version so hopefully it will be better this time round. At first I thought all you have to do is to place blocks(and break it), but after I watched/read some tutorials, I got really addicted to it. This right here. It took me a while to get into it, but after a week or so, I was totally hooked.
