Remember when we learned about the first trailer? GTAF learns of the first GTA V trailer Then, we got restless to the point of bugging R* to release some damn info. It was almost like they were avoiding the issue. give us some gta v info R* During that time, this forum contained a well-known member named zee who liked to call R* cockstar. He did give everyone a hard time: ZEE being ZEE Then, the mods finally got tired of him…. bye bye zee R* finally released some screenshots of GTA V but it wasn’t enough for some. will screenshots be enough? But they did eventually released a second trailer and shortly after it was leaked that GTA V was to be released during the spring of 2013. But then R* revealed the release date…. a slight delay... After that bit of news, GTAF took it relatively well….. GTAF's reaction to the release date Despite all of that, we are nearly there. Almost a month away from playing GTA V. here’s what we will be doing when that day arrives. the day is finally here If you watched all of those videos and haven’t placed a hit on me, I thank you. Who is zee? Just a really annoying troll. As OP said he kept calling R* c*ckstar and just saying bad things about R* and GTA in general. It wasn't even funny, just really pathetic. He wasn't on much when I first came on here but every now and then he would pop up saying stuff about R* (which he hilariously called c*ckstar), mostly how the Houser brothers spent all their time doing coke and stuff, and that the graphics and overall gameplay of GTA was c*ap. Distrom Posted August 11, 2013 Share Posted August 11, 2013 I remember the morning R* announced GTA V, I was thinking about BF3 being released that day, and BOOM, GTA V was announced, I was in school and I literaly screamed of happyned in the classroom I never knew the game would release nearly 2 years later, I thought I would be playing it by may 2012. It's been a lot since that announcement, remember that horrible 2012 drought until June 12th, when R* released 2 screens, 2 months later, the famous "Transport" screens, when the OP of that topic posted those creat screen, everyone started to flame him, because we thought they were fake until somebody posted the link to R* instagram, everyone were crying in happiness, 2 days later we got "Leisure" and then, another 2 days later we got " Business" and the infamous "in a few weeks or so". September and most of october was really stressing, until GI announced their december issue being GTA V (finaly) We got trailer 2, and at the end of January, we gota delay, now we are just 1 month away from the game, It's really crazy how far we came from. tl;dr Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He had a love/hate relationship with Rockstar. He loved to hate them, but you could tell actually idolized them. Like I said, there's a fine line between love & hate. Anyway, his shtick wore thin after a few years & he seriously ran out of good troll material. In the end he was just a bit embarrassing. Still, I'd take 10 of him over all the late comer trolls who've infested this forum recently. It doesn't help that the forums have added a 'Best Troll' Award in their recent community awards. The fact that the forums have added a "Best Troll" award would have changed nothing. It was the same just before GTA IV release here and there was no troll award then. Whenever there is major news or a release is nearing this place will always attract trolls as most of the attention is on the game. Unfortunatley there is nothing to do but let the mods ban them when they get around to it as they have private lives away from the forum (i think ) and cant be here 24/7. But i agree the trolls do get old after a short while. No need to encourage them though. I don't know how many mods most forums have, but I'd imagine an increase in traffic requires more moderators. I took a break from the forums at the start of the year due to other things keeping me busy and quite a few good games coming out. Hard to believe we are just over a month from release. I don't feel that hyped as I once was though. I'm sure over the next few weeks I'll be a bit more hyped but at the moment it seems so close yet so far to me. Bring me that horizon. It's there but I know i have other games that will help me pass the time and that I'm also looking forward to. sh*t, I just remember way before trailer 1 that there was a picture scavenger hunt on this board. we were all trying to guess what they meant but in the end it really didn't amount to anything.
