Weapon Aim, simple or complex?

this might be actually a stupid question

 

but i've always liked the complex aim from GTA IV

 

in the gameplay trailers we saw a simple aim (a dot) like in Max Payne 3

 

can we change this in the game settings? From simple to complex?

There will probably be "basic" and "weapon specific" options like in Max Payne 3.

Supposedly there's a "traditional" aiming mode which is supposed to be like past GTAs, so I assume it is a hard lock style.

 

But really if you haven't yet, play Max Payne 3 and get a feel for the controls. Here's why:

I like it this way. Gta 4's circle with dot was lame.. Rather have this dot!

Bought it yesterday and I must say it's a great game, really looking forward to GTA V's gunplay if it's similar to MP3

I like it this way. Gta 4's circle with dot was lame.. Rather have this dot!

Lame? That circle is supposed to tell you where bullets can spread around your dot, so it's actually useful.

 

And that white simple dot is "invisible" if the sun is f*cking blinding you, but you can still see the circle and have an idea where the crosshair is.

 

At least, i would change the colour for the simple dot in something more visible.

What if it changed color? Like if you pointed at something bright it changed from white to black or red or if you point at something dark it stays white. I don't know what you would call that, but it be cool if the dot didn't blend in with whatever you're pointing at.
