KillaMoneyMike
I was supposed to just play it a little bit just to re-get the feel for GTA again. But I ended up playing it until i beat all 50 drug missions on the TBOGT. Now theres nothing to do once again. The game is bland now, it brought up feas for the new GTAV unfortunately. Like once all the side missions are done, it doesnt matter how many other activities there are, the game needs missions involving your gun in order to feel life. Then I tried re-watching the V gameplay trailer and right then I noticed it wasn't as much of a graphic improvement as I originally thought. More like GTA 4.5 type graphics. But whatever, the gameplay is my main concern. I just hope it doesn't get boring like IV.

United_Stealth
If you've spend 1 minute reading info from V you know it will be way, way, way bigger than IV in all aspects.... -.-
Paper Mario
V will have lots of things that you can do! By the way, I've been playing a lot of Spelunky lately, trying to get to the Golden City and f*ck it is hard.
KillaMoneyMike
If you've spend 1 minute reading info from V you know it will be way, way, way bigger than IV in all aspects.... -.- No i know. On paper it shouldn't. But for some reason I feel just a tad less excited about it. Maybe I'm thinking about it too much and playing IV too much to the point where its taking my excitement down. I gotta perhaps take a break from these forums and stop playing GTA IV.

Hodgey.
Ok so you beat the missions and now its a little boring again but that is because you have probably been playing it for years like myself and others. When GTA V is released obviously it will be new to us and once you finish the storyline the first time around im guessing there is going to be alot of GTA V's map that still needs to be explored especially with the underwater enviroment. Plus GTA V multiplayer will be new and should keep people occupied for quite a while.

Travís.
IV only get's boring so quick because there's not much to do, compared to other GTA's. To be honest it's quite hard to play it again. Because it's rather boring though, But with San Andreas. I just can't get bored of it, I just can't. I think V will be the same Play SA again. Why don't you stop being lazy and use your imagination after you finish the game? Explore deep into the city and find hidden alleys, seagulls, try driving around like a civilian and gawk at the detail of the city. I don't know maybe I'm different but IV hypes me up for V. I can find a lot of things to do in IV to occupy my time. And when the game is completely finished I still find sh*t to do I mean geez. SA boosts my hype a lot but after a while I get bored of SA. TyphoonJames
With 3 protags, most ambitious R* map yet, undwrwater world, countryside/desert, huge heists, planes inc. jets, military, military base, customisation for weapons, cars and your protags, real estates, stocks and all the side activities GTA V won't become boring for a good few years. The physics of GTA IV still amazes me.
LaDispute
How can you even get bored of a GTA game tbh... all GTA's are fun and GTAV will never ever get boring, i can basically sit in a parked car in IV and enjoy myself just by watching the cities detail. There's too many whinge threads..

LibertyPrime
For me IV has been like my fix. I'll think or read about V and then I just have to play GTA. It's a tie over. That and RDR, just trying to picture them combined and see how V might be.

To be fair i can't think of anything more to do in Gta4, Completed the story 3 times - same for the DLC packs - got most achievements - have explored the whole map constantly (my friends give me grief i know the map so well) There is just nothing left for me to do apart from play it and get bored within minutes, The only positives i get from Gta4 is Knowing how much better GtaV is going to be

zainzombie
You have overdosed on GTA. All I played was Red Dead and that was a month ago. You need to stay away from IV and wait for V. GTA V will be more fun this way. I have been staying away from all open world games (except RDR which I completed a month ago). I really like Payday 2 but Im staying away from it too because I want to feel a fresh experience with an Open world games and everything that V offers. wwinterj
While I hope R* use the map to it's full potential and there is a lot to do in GTA V I've decided to keep away from open world games and gaming in general due to the lack of interest until Kingdom Hearts HD drops on the 12th of September. This will also benefit me when it comes to GTA V as it will make scratching that open world itch much more satisfying. The last thing I want to do if play GTA IV before GTA V as that would make me feel "burnt out" a lot quicker. It seems R* have improved upon GTA V in every way. One of my main gripes with GTA games(even more so IV) was the repetitive missions. Based on how V is structured and the heists it seems R* might have fixed that problem. Only time will tell. LotusRIP
That's why I got Pikmin 3 to tie me over... still a great game but absolutely NOTHING like GTA which will make my experience with V fresher. I suggest you very quickly jump ship from GTA/Rockstar games, buy a game that's a completely different style from a different developer... something really unique... then when you come back to play V it'll be a new experience all over again. tjbyrum1
The best thing about GTA games is when you have a room full of people playing it and doing stupid stuff. Sure I like doing missions and side stuff, but the best experience I've ever had in GTA is when my cousins and brother are in there with me doing stupid stuff. Flying cars on GTA San Andreas, getting chased by the cops and seeing them fly around, running off of Mount Chiliad...
Cinoy
I stopped playing IV recently to get more hyped for gta v... Playing a similar game, no matter what, a lot prior to GTA V will result in less hype. So im not touching gta iv again.
