GarrowsKai Posted August 11, 2013 Share Posted August 11, 2013 I'm pretty sure the gang stuff in V is mostly a backdrop for Franklin's story and not a focal point like it was in San Andreas. Franklin doesn't give a **** about the gang life and wants to get away from it besides the gangs "today" and in this universe would be a shell of their former selves and there shouldn't be turf wars and gang violence like GTA:SA, then again Franklin does seem to be killing a mostly Ballas so we'll see where his story goes. From the info we have currently it doesn't seem like it would fit unless something major happens that makes him want revenge or whatever. One of the previews mentioned that the gangs were largely at peace or whatever and more interested in fighting the cops than each other. I guess they could do TLAD style turf wars again and I'm not opposed to having more stuff to do. Alright, done with this sleep deprived rambling. I imagine a lot of the footage we've seen of him killing Ballas will happen early on in Franklins story, like he gets dragged into it by his friends before joining up with Michael and Trevor to do the heists. Nope it's a confirmed activity DEAL WITH IT! Yeah of course, when Franklin has made a ton from bank robberies and the stock market, he'll still be fighting some petty turf wars. ALMOST610 Posted August 12, 2013 Share Posted August 12, 2013 Well I am not aware that any of the Players are part of gangs, or gang leaders so why would we be part of any turf wars, I am sure there might be a mission where we could have to start a turf war as a distraction for the police while we rob a bank or something, but I don't think anything would be a major part of the game. lolleroz Posted August 12, 2013 Share Posted August 12, 2013 TLAD and TBOGT had their own 'main side activities', TLAD had gang wars whereas TBOGT had drug wars...basically I think it would be keep if every character in 5 would have his own 'main side activity', for example Trevor could have something related to his pseudo criminal empire in countryside, Franklin could have gang wars (in somewhat more believable/realistic extent than GTA SA though) and Michael...lol I don't really know, assasinations would be awesome but I guess it just don't fit.
