I thought they were great last time, though they did get a bit tedious having to reclaim them all the time. As long as it's not too much of a pain in the ass having to reclaim the "turf" all the time. I also hope the gangs are a bit more dangerous then IV's. I haven't checked the link but turf wars was where you had different colored sections on the map (purple for ballers, green for grove street) and you had to go into the rival ballers territory and kill it's members in that section to turn it to your side. kinda like a hoard node I guess. I'd be all the way in Las Venturas playing poker and get that damn message. They could do it like Far Cry 3 where once you take over the outpost thats it, it's done. They could make it more in depth. raiding a drugs den ect THEN you get back outside deal with the onslaught of enemies. Franklin doesn't give a **** about the gang life and wants to get away from it besides the gangs "today" and in this universe would be a shell of their former selves and there shouldn't be turf wars and gang violence like GTA:SA, then again Franklin does seem to be killing a mostly Ballas so we'll see where his story goes. From the info we have currently it doesn't seem like it would fit unless something major happens that makes him want revenge or whatever. One of the previews mentioned that the gangs were largely at peace or whatever and more interested in fighting the cops than each other. I guess they could do TLAD style turf wars again and I'm not opposed to having more stuff to do. Alright, done with this sleep deprived rambling.
