Seeing that i live in aus it would cost alot extra to own a copy of GTA V collectors edition so i was wondering would anyone without a wifi connection not want their DLC pack and be able to sell it for a reasonable price? Thanks biggrin.gif

I hate DLC's... I pay 70€ for a game... then I also want the full game.

Actually I payed 130€ for the CE's so I want to have more featured then others,

and not see them as DLC later... I hate DLC's in Max Payne 3, Mafia 2, any other games...

and I wont change my mind because it's GTA V. Please R*... no DLC's for money! Only 4 free if you need 2.

Just wait, I'm sure an GTA V Complete Edition will popup sooner or later containing all of the extra stuff

Why would you even want to accept something as horrible as DLC? it's ruined games, companies live off of DLC now and pump it out so easily by cutting 80% of a game out.

In my opinion though, I don't think you should accept DLC, it will only support the concept more, which means those who buy games will continue to get less & less.

If here was a like, you would have gotten mine.

The DLCs for IV were just rip-offs. R* cut out all the things in the main version which we already had in SA, just for getting some extra cash. And I also read somewhere here, they are already planning to sell DLCs for V. So if they have the ideas for extras, they are just cutting them out of the V main version for getting the DLCs.

This is nothing else than a rip-off concept for me and I will definitely not support this sh*t. They are already earning more than enough with the main version. I also have never bought and will never buy any of IV's DLCs.

And always if I see someone looking forward to a DLC, I am wondering, if this guy has really lost all of his brain cells to be happy for being ripped-off.

What does the collectors edition have extra anyway? I thought it was only like a blimp and a gun or something, correct me if I'm wrong but who cares?

Access to Atomic Blimp

25% Special Ability Boost

Stunt Plain Trails

Bonus outfits and tattoos

Extra weapons (Free weapons @ Ammunation: .50 Pistol, Bullpup Shotgun, Hammer)

Edit: Forgot some stuff:

Classic Custom Characters for Grand Theft Auto Online (Old protags relive)

Unique Vehicles & Garage property (Garage contains an exclusive 1930's Hotknife Hotrod for Single Player and an high-end Khamelion Electric for GTA Online)

I think this is all DLC stuff, all the others are goodies

Yeah I agree DLC is just a ripoff. Rather than putting it in the original game, they decide "let's save it for DLC" and that just results in a watered down game. The only reason people like DLC imo is just so they can own things that not everyone has. But that's nonsense because a lot of people will still buy it. But it's too late now, everyone's wanted more DLC so now we're getting more DLC. I'm disappointed with R* tbh.

Except DLC has been around alot longer than just current gen consoles.

Remember expansion packs before console went too the internet?

Hell everything you use is DLC, Browsers etc.

People should just stop whining about it, cause, if it's a trustworthy company like Rockstar, chances are the DLC is an actual exapansion, like Episodes Of Liberty City.

Of course, people love to whine about things that dont concern them, and act like things effect them when they can just avoid it.

Truth is, DLC most of the time is worth it.

Unless you buy from EA or Capcom.

Also, you're not Fluttershy.

And what about content game creators come up with after they finalize the game? they should wait years on end to add that too the next game?

Or would you prefer your game be extended?

I don't really mind DLC, if ther're worth it. A new car and a new pair of socks for 800Msp is not worth it.

It would be really funny though if they made DLC's in the future that was free, I don't think anyone would mind that, or am I wrong?

Something I do hate is when there's area's in games that are locked and nedds a DLC that cost money. That's just wrong!

You can always buy the Special Edition. It's more cheaper then Collectors Edition

I think the difference is that you don't have t-shirts or hats and all that stuff, just the tattoos , cars, clothes, ya know, just the digital stuff.

I don't know the price there but for example here the game will be 69.95€ and the SE will be 89.99€ so it might be the same difference in your country... confused.gif

I'd much prefer it to be in the next game, cos you know, that's what game sequels are for.

Nobody complained that parachutes, motorbikes and fighter jets weren't in GTA3. People instead got really excited when they were in VC and SA respectively. Would you rather GTA 3 had all that as DLC, making VC and SA completely pointless?

You don't sell a picture that you've drawn and say "oh hey I forgot to add a flower right there, give me your money and I'll add it." The same should apply for games.

That's not what happened with IV though, they made vanilla IV and said they were trying to take it in a more realistic direction. The fans then showed there dissatisfaction at that and so, in the second DLC they added parachutes and outrageous guns because that's what people wanted.

And EFLC were created after the main game came out, and cost £15.99 for the pair, despite the fact they make up almost a full game together, so for only £55.99 you're essentially getting two games, they hadn't cut anything out of Vanilla IV just so they could release it as a DLC, they made all that after as an expansion.

The DLCs for IV were just rip-offs. R* cut out all the things in the main version which we already had  in SA, just for getting some extra cash.

The only thing from SA that made a comeback was the parachute, nothing else, and I never really used it much. The Episodes are worth a lot more than their price (even tho I despised one of them due to the theme)

The 'possible' DLC for V is a rip off. They cut out content and give it to people who pre-order it, and then they'll sell it to us. I'm going to shoot some damn blimps out of the sky.

i like DLC, but i agree, this collectors stuff should only be released as collectors , never for normal DLC , im sure it will. but it should be for the hardcore fans who did it day 1. otherwise like you say, its just something they could of included but decided to sell it as a extra part
