ScottishHeist123
Before the Gameplay Trailer was released a month ago, some people on GTA Forums mentioned they would not watch it for many reasons: from the video spoiling the game; to ruining the feeling of seeing it for the first time. If one of those people was you, have you managed to keep that promise to yourself? Or could you not resist the temptation?!
JacoBee
Those who say ''i didnt watch that'...are liers ,thats all. BTW: I saw gameplays, trailers, reviews before every gta(and other games) and it never ruined that 'first' feeling.
Travís.
I've watched, it. Didn't ruin anything. I don't know how a 4 minute gameplay video could ruin the whole game.
GarrowsKai
I was going to try and avoid it, caved the very day it came out.
Chukkles
I believe I said I would not want to but probably couldn't resist temptation. I've only watched it 5 times.

Toshio_maxoS
I couldn't stand the pressure. I needed to watch it.. and now I watch it 10 times every single day, because I'm gettin' impatient... it's.. a addiction
Juzt
That would be like going to see a movie without first finding out what it's about. And trailers are designed not to spoil.
UltimateVenom
I never said I wouldn't watch it, but I have watched it on, all 3 of my TV's, My Laptop, My Ps3 and my Phone! BTW watching the 720p Trailer on your HD Phone makes it seem even more impressive... not exactly sure why...

HitGta
It's not like it ruined anything anyway. However, I'm gonna resist watching leaked gameplays when they eventually come, as that WILL ruin it. For me atleast.
UltimateVenom
That would be like going to see a movie without first finding out what it's about. And trailers are designed not to spoil. Actually, you have no idea how great that is... My cousin and I (no not Roman) used to go to the movies and see a random movie we knew nothing about as long as it was rated > M15 We were never disappointed, as none of the movie was ruined, it was full of surprises and the best parts had not been ruined. Even if the movie turned out to be average, it was still a great experience, as none of it was expected, and we had something to discuss.

I'm no expert but that's probably has something to do with the image being smaller giving it a much cleaner look.

Yeah that's cool and I can see that, It's not something I would do but yeah I get it. I'm just saying the general rule of thumb is know what you're letting yourself in for before committing. The more you spend on a product the more it comes into play.
Hodgey.
I've watched the gameplay trailer and it didnt ruin anything just like i knew it wouldnt. I say that because R* are always pretty secerative when it comes to releasing too much info before a GTA game, and didnt really expect to see anything more in the gameplay trailer than we already thought would be in the game. (as in there was no announcement, it was just out). There are a few other games in the category, but not many! Most games I need to know about before I buy. Don't want to get flamed, but Sr3 was a given for me, Sr2 was a truly great game on a different level to GTA, but Sr3 was such a let down, that Sr4 (3.5) seems shoddy by default, and the little I have seen of it, seems to confirm this, and I have 0 interest in finding anymore info on it, but being honest, I may pick it up when it is $5 on steam... v 9 L u k E 4 v
look its stupid to say I didn't watch it because everyone else thinks your lying so really only you know if you have watched it so this topic is pointless

Yeah lol look man I'm not gonna lie I'd buy it too without seeing the trailer ect. I mean it's a new GTA, it's that rare exception and R* have never let me down before (Slightly with IV but I'm not gonna get into a forum war so I'll leave that there lol). But you never know and it's best just to check to be safe. It's not like great new I.P's have never been turned into garbage with their sequels before. It does happen. stobe187
Haven't watched it – but I don't feel superior to those who did. Its a personal choice. I've just grown to greatly enjoy the wait and (especially) it's eventual ending when you have the controller in your hand and you experience the look and feel of the new world for the first time. That moment right there is entirely unique in gaming. And there's only a month left, it's nothing.
Cinoy
I've watched it in two different countries that are at the opposite ends of the world and about 50 times total(COMPLETELY SERIOUS).
Grand Theft Savage
I was one of those fools saying I won't watch it. My girl ended up showing it to me. But I have only watched it 3 times now.
twistedweather
never made any kind of deal to not watch the gameplay video because I know I would never be able to keep that promise till release day.... could any diehard GTA fan? especially after Rockstar saying V would in effect revolutionize open world gaming dont need anymore info.... I'm set
