TV Signal and an Antenna Booster.

Okay, for some reason my roof aerial is broken, so for TV I use an antenna Booster. Before I got a HD TV A set top box and this antenna booster worked fine all channels, all of the time, I got the HD TV and it is lousy at picking up signal, but with some adjustment it worked okay, most channels most of the time.

 

Anyway, got a new TV and it is even worse with picking up signal, the booster I have is very old, like early 90's I think, it's quite broken from being stepped on and stuff but still worked fine with the old TV.

With the new one, I get one channel if i'm lucky.

 

Should I get a new antenna booster or a new set top box? Which do you think will work best?
