TheWordIsMarc_HD
I suspect we'll get something from R* on Tuesday. And the reason GTAVoclock is going to be "big" is because on Wednesday they will be going over and over and over what was revealed on Tuesday. For them to say this week is going to be epic kinda hints they know something is coming from R* but then again they cocked up not so long ago with a similar tweet. ^ Winner. Topic done lol. Iv gotta say Tuesday too and CVG will just re live Tuesdays Trailer & They'll make a video tomorrow advertising the GTA Online Video. I hope anyway. it makes sense...any later and i miss the point cos its only 1 Month away after Friday and Marketing will need to focus on TV Spots/Radio Spots/Posters/Internet Spots/Hype Articles & More Screenshots. Agreed. After this week it's 1 month til release, they need to start the marketing on a large scale and I think this week will mark the start of it. GTAOnline is really the last piece of the puzzle and once we get that the marketing and PR of the game will go into overdrive. Exactly. See you know what it is. Monday Marking 5Weeks highlights the fact that R* need to promote the game to the fullest regardless of the predictions on sales. It means releasing the GTA Online trailer before pushing all out articles and paper produced formats as well as E-Media advertisements on Google,Youtube etc. The Friday of next week marks 1 Month which then means they have exactly 18-19 days maybe 20 to push the boat on advertisement. Most games take advertisements til atleast 3 days after release, anything from 3 days up to 3 weeks normally. Its the time where they can milk the advertisement progress. Even though the major fans will have the game they're still gonna want to push the smaller fans and general gaming community into buying the game. Since Youtubes been around Gaming companies have had a little boost to help their marketing staff because of peoples walkthroughs and playing of games. This could mean R* have limited their campaign to 5-6weeks. The reason they have to release the GTA Online video now is because they need major bait to being the trail of promotional articles etc. So i have to agree w/u 100% that the video has to drop this week. theworldfamous
I think Rockstar has revealed more than enough from the single player. The only info I'm now waiting for is about online and when the first people gets hands on with it and can report what it performs and plays like

Jonny04
The fact of the matter is, you'll want to listen to GTAVoclock this week, as you will hear about the game, unlike from any other journalists. They made two exclusive videos from what they'd seen of GTA V, and the other was the exclusive interview with R* North. Most other publications just did a preview on their site, but at least you get lots of little details from them over the weeks. This week will be the Online reveal, it makes sense. It's just a question of whether they do the Online gameplay reveal on Tuesday or Thursday. The online reviews from IGN/Gamespot scum etc plus GTAVoclock's video will probably be Thursday- just like the last round of previews. If they show the video Tuesday it will blow the gaming World away, no one really cares about COD but if they do it Thursday, it'll make them forget about it for a long time anyway. GTAV o clock won't blow anyone away, they'll discuss and give their opinions on things, they won't have exclusive information. The main point of their videos is they have two exclusives which is unlike any other YouTube channel. Apart from GiantBomb, GameInformer, and a few other websites who uploaded like a 10-20 minute impression of the game. They did a video review of their 30 minute preview from May 2nd (which some people forget) and they had Imran from Rockstar North on to discuss the game, we got about 12 bullet points of information from that, e.g confirming impounds and retrieving lost cars for a fee, and the Bulldozer. I don't blame them for the lack of information, their superiors want them to make a weekly show, the weeks between official information from Rockstar means speculation. They will get invited along to play the game as they are CVG, and we will get another 90 minute overview of what they played. So really I disagree with the hating for CVG when people get upset over things when they clearly should know better, its their own fault for thinking there will be new information every week. Just because they say tune in next week? Edit: Maybe I should point out: exclusive for the 30 minute preview meaning that they are the only publication that I know of that have given us a video review, which adds so much more than a couple of hundred words on a publication. You get alot more detail from that 90 minute preview, and the weeks following it, they gave a few more details that were not mentioned from viewers questions. jdwarfer
They did an interview of some rockstar guy a few weeks ago, at the time of the gameplay video. That was exclusive, if I'm not wrong. saksoka
To be fair last week GTAVoclock put out a tweet saying that they had a announcement which lead most people to believe that they had some information about GTA Online, however it turned out to be something about Youtube's Geek Week. GTAVoclock can say something epic is happening but it doesnt really mean that it has anything to do with GTA V itself.I would like to think that this is the week that we do get some info on GTA Online as its been a little while now since the gameplay trailer however if we have to wait a couple more weeks for info then that is what we all have to do. can't f*cking focus while reading your comment because of your picture . it just too hard with those shaking asses . They never do it, so I have no clue how CVG managed to persuade them. Rockstar did it because they're fans of GTA 5 O'Clock and CVG is probably the most highly regarded games website from within the games industry. As I've said before here Tim Weaver and Dan Dawkins are two of the most acclaimed games journalists in the world. If Rockstar North are going to do an interview for the first time then it might as well be with them. I suspect it won't be the last.

josephene123
They haven't said anything about next week's show being epic and great or whatever. All this topic is doing is getting people worked up so that when the video drops and there is nothing exclusive (I'm not saying it's not a possibility, mind), everyone here will be bitching and moaning... if there is a special episode coming, I assume they'll be hyping it up a couple days before the video is released
haarp
They don't even say WHEN their video will be out. Why not just say "our next video on wednesday will be big!" instead they do stupid little riddles "big announcement next week" oh it's a crappy video for geek week. They could have said that at the beginning but knew if they did no one would care.
