SuperDuperGta
In my recent play through of GTA4 I found I didn't need to go to buy guns at all, due to all the ammo and weapons picked up off enemies. This adds to the uselessness of money in the game. I think it should be harder and more costly to get ammo. I imagine they have already improved this system so that you prepare your weapons for a heist. How do you think they have got round this Some thoughts; Take away the load times when examining every weapon Don't have any ammo pick ups off enemies Have a loot only system, similar to RDR Each individual weapon has its own ammo
Flashify
I'd like to earn them and as it looks like we have use of online money it looks possible that we'll have to buy guns.

SuperCrayon
Well most likely the weapons you will find on the floor from dropping enemies will just be bare bone default weapons. Whereas if you buy a weapon then slap on accessories like extended mags, grips, sights and so on you will still be spending money in the gun store on a gun. You may not need to spend money on a gun if you are fine with a standard glock, but if you want a fully upgraded weapon then you will most likely have to spend money to do so. It will work just like how it did in MP3 where you just pick up ammo if you already own the gun.
gta5freemode4eva
The 1st time I played San Andreas (went through the story twice) I actually payed for and bought the weapons and ammo. I picked up the weapons (ammo) from fallen victims but I didn't kill same random gang member to get my hand on an machine gun early. It was pretty cool as I kinda had to conserve ammo for the different difficulties that the game threw at me. I also didn't get any hardcore guns till later on as Ammu-nation didn't have them available for me to use so when I did finally get the 'good guns' it was pretty hardcore and good fun Guess it added another level to the game. I 'earned' my decent guns, and it felt goood Note - it also meant that I couldn't always afford certain weapons or ammo which again added to the game.
