Will you bother with chop?

Has it even been confirmed that we can take him around with us during free roam? Honestly. I didn't see any dogs in any of the trailers other than the first official trailer at the beginning on the sunny beach (might have been Chop) - plus it looked like a cut scene.

 

I think Chop simply serves as a character in cut scenes.. that's just me, though.

Definitely interested in the potential of the dog in the game.

Doubt I'll take him _everywhwere_. (Can he ride on the back of motorcycles? Doubtful.)

 

In the middle of RedDead Redemption for the first time and am becoming quite fond of my four-legged companions.

 

Just yesterday in rdr I was doing a nightwatch in Mexico and attempted to lasso a criminal through the shop stalls. He got loose and managed to put a couple of bullets into me before I lassoed him again. The dog however had been chewing on him the whole time and killed the guy by himself before I even got to hogtie him. Gooood dog!

 

The horse's AI is usually ok except for the time he wandered through the middle of a firefight. ...or walks off whist I'mtrying to load a prisoner.

 

I just hope there are specific comands to give chop. Maybe a dog-training school.

First we have to know what he can do. I will most likely lose him on purpose if his is just a useless NPC following me. Though I would taking everywhere I go if he can bite people and pull a minigun from his bum and cause total mayhem

Chop is a dog you "really care about" not a dog from Call of Duty Ghosts, f*ck that!
