CH0P
Diablo 3 and Total War:Rome 2 are also releasing in September. They are really good games.Yes they might fall under a different fan base but if you are a true gamer then it doesn't matter. In my opinion this is actually a good thing because you won't get sick of playing just one game. I think game companies are confused when they release games, they try and release them when there is no competition, HUGE MISTAKE! if GTA V is the only good game out at the time, I will play it so much and get sick of it, but if there are other good games than I can mix it up and fully appreciate GTA V. Basically the point of this thread is game companies need to stop thinking they can't release a good game next to another good game, these aren't movies!!! CryptReaperDorian
I kind of like for a different reason. I can't see myself playing much else other than GTA V for months on end. So, I won't have as much of an urge to fish out money for other games or consoles. Battlefield 4 with a PS4 is tempting, but that can now wait a bit. So you prefer to play strictly GTA V for a long period of time? That is understandable but I need to play other games in different genres, like the new fifa that comes out in September as well, that will keep me sane from just play GTA V non stop. Johan
You forgot to mention Rayman Origins OP, not everyone likes the same genres.

I own possibly hundreds of games already. Out of those, there's more than a handful of games I can fall back on if GTA V somehow bores me.

So would you rather GTA V release on it's own so you can focus on that? Or would you like another game that you like release at the same time so you can play them both? I'd rather have GTA V release alone. Buying multiple titles at full price within a short amount of time is something I just don't like doing any more.
