Some PC games can run it but the displays aren't popular yet, 4k TVs are starting to be pushed but they're expensive right now. Next gen consoles can potentially support it if they think it's worth it. There is no limit for resolution on PC games, you can set it to any resolution as long as you have a screen that supports it. They're similar in the fact that each had a earlier release on this gen and the next title had been optimized greatly. @zombie elvis Next-gen consoles DO support 4k. I wish people would look up sh*t before they blabber. Like Xbox One having a fee for used games and having to have a mandatory internet connection every time you turn it on. NO GAMES on BOTH consoles run natively on 1080p, only upscaled. It's worse on big TV's tbh, get a 32" LCD TV and play any PS3/360 game and it will look AMAZING on 720p, and you can upscale it to 1080p and it will look good aswell. Well you are wrong there, there are a few games that are native 1080p, such as rayman origins, ridge racer, wipeout hd, tekken 5 dr, etc. At the same ti,me, people saying games like skyrim or cod are 1080p are also wrong, those are the upscaled ones. Rockstar have officially said that they are working on both versions at the same time, and they won't have to port anything. It may be true that they have some kind of deal with Sony, and maybe that is why they must show gameplay on that console. But you don't know anything about Xbox version yet.
