This is rumored to be a clever corporate conspiracy, hatched by Microsoft and Sony, to force 25 million GTAV buyers to go out and buy next generation consoles. The only game I play online is IV and PS3 has less modders and the modders CANNOT freeze your system. Since I only play IV online I don't care about cross game chat. I never use my headset. 1) Yes you sound like a fanboy, that feature is great & PS3 has now just decided to catch up on it(for a reason). 2) That's GTA IV not V..lol. 3) Xbox has the best Online experience hands down & is the best console for GTA 5 if this GTA Online thing is as big as it seems. Ermac_ Posted August 11, 2013 Share Posted August 11, 2013 I had my 360 for about 2 years now even though its the 4th one I bought and owned due to rrod since the console was launched. My preferences leaned over the Xbox, the community, the way it was all designed, it was just better IMHO. So i gladly pay for a service I am more than satisfied with. saintsrow Posted August 11, 2013 Share Posted August 11, 2013 Ironically, the only thing that killed my Xbox 360 was the aftermarket fan (fancy name: intercooler) that I got for it to try to keep it cool. My Xbox got the RROD and that was back when Microsoft was fixing Xbox RRODs out of warranty for free since they had early problems. So I got mine fixed free. Later on, I found out that the fan actually screws up the power supply or something and actually causes RROD. So, after I got the fixed Xbox back, I never ran the fan on it again, and it has worked for thousands of hours of GTA and RDR and a couple other mediocre games, with no problems.
