GoldenBlade
Really slowly. I will enjoy the game at my own pace.
tjbyrum1
I'm going to beat the game but take my time and do whatever else you can do. Do a few missions, then play around a bit. I actually don't like going on rampages, but I do enjoy car chases, foot chases, flying jets, and the occasional jumping off of tall buildings. universetwisters
I'll take it slow and soak it all in. Oddly enough, I probably won't do any free roaming until once I beat the game. Get the story out of the way before the fun begins
ugotsmoked
Just like when I am with a woman, really long, really slow and finish quick at the end once I start to get cramps and cotton mouth.
max_rally
I usually rush to get the main story out of the way and only then start to do other stuff, but I think I'll definitely go slow with GTA V

NYC PATROL
I made a thread about something like this in gen. chat. little bit back... I don't understand with certain games how people will just blaze through them. No doubt it will happen with V. People will beat in in 2 days or w/e but I just don't see the point. Especially if you are one of the people that has been grasping at every info drop of V. Sure you can go back and play it over and over but why not take the time the first play through to enjoy all the details? To each their own. Seniorbboby
Take it slow, take buses, taxis really enjoy the atmosphere
73duster
This game is certainly at it's best when experienced nice and slow. I'm not going to just jump from one mission to the next. I think the best thing to do is do one mission, then take some time to roam around and try some side activities and sightseeing, and THEN try the next mission and so on. I'm also not going to try and see the entire map in one shot either. Although the entire map will be open from the start, I really enjoyed having to wait a while to get access to other areas of the map in previous GTA'S. I will refrain from forcefeeding myself the whole map too quickly.
wwinterj
-snip- Agreed. I never rush games. I guess it's because I never want them to end but the main reason is I just take my time, explorer every nook and cranny I come across and just enjoy how beautiful the game looks. The Last of Us took me 17 hours to complete. For a linear game I found that to be good timing. GTA V will no doubt last me a lot longer. Even more so with all the stuff you can do in the game. XXVIII
Transpiring promptly on Release Day, my Grand Theft Auto: V ventures will encompass slow-paced execution and observation of the beautiful, microcosmic details that Rockstar North have undoubtedly created at every juncture. As the delay continues to be chiseled to shadowy trails of remnants along a scroll of straightaway from 1rst February to the present, I am finding my verdict fluctuating as to how Michael is going to pursue the ripe and colorful Los Santos. Surely, I will have an inclination to begin calibrating the driving physics; however, by walking the sidewalks, I will expose myself to the varying statures / demeanor of Los Santosians, perhaps bearing witness to an emergent wrongdoer, valiantly bolting off because of a traffic stop / speeding infraction. The purring of an aircraft fastidiously gaining altitude (Trevor, unoccupied). For me, Grand Theft Auto: V shall be unscripted, and I will be diverted every five seconds by a detail more beautiful and astounding than the previous one unearthed. To serve as a few examples: 'Wow, would you look at that realistic blanket of vapor sailing along the ocean sky!' 'The illuminations of Los Santos / Blaine County reflecting coherently off of tranquil waters; this is too awesome!' I will be making general, eloquent observations within, accompanied by amazement. This foreshadowing has now bred more excitement.
Racecarlock
Well, I am one of those guys that likes to take a nice big bite of story once I get involved on it. On the other hand, the sheer f*cking around potential that this game has displayed so far leads me to believe that I might not even play any non-tutorial story based missions for quite a while. I know people say that Saints Row is for f*cking around, but so is GTA V. Don't believe me? Well, clearly you haven't seen the trailers. Yeah, the stories look good for the protagonists, but look at the sheer amount of stuff to do in the world. I mean, wow. This game looks absolutely f*cking massive. It's almost my duty to mess around.
