Problems With GTA IV

Hey guys, needing some help on GTA4. Just got it on steam and some things are messed up...

 

First, most if not all textures are missing. I would post a picture but GTA doesn't like screenshots by me..

 

Second, I am unable to change any graphic settings (see specs below).

 

This is my junk laptop specs for you all:

 

CPU: Intel Core i5-2430M - 2.40GHz

GPU: Intel Integrated 3000 <-- I know..

RAM: 6 GB

 

If you need anything other just ask.

You basically answered your own question. GTA IV is tough enough as it is to run on high-end rigs. You're on a laptop, and from the looks of it, not a gaming laptop.

 

Should've done some research and compared your system's specs before buying GTA IV.

By the looks of it you don't know what you're talking about.

 

1. "GTA IV is tough enough as it is to run on high-end rigs." - You don't have to have a "great" PC to run a 2008 game..

 

2. "not a gaming laptop." - Again, a "gaming" laptop is not necessary.

 

3. "Should've done some research and compared your system's specs before buying GTA IV." - Just to clarify, the game runs perfect on my desktop. Just wanting to do some mobile gaming.
