I remember when San Andreas was first released (I wasn't really messing with the internet back then) and other than the T.V ads, I went into it pretty much blind and the game was much better for it.

 

But now (If you want to) you can find out pretty much anything about the game within a few clicks. From the confirmed to speculation.

 

I think the speculation is the killer because everyone's brains start working at a 100mph tryna figure every little detail. Speculator's either gonna be right and ruin the surprise, or make a suggestion you liked, but ended up not being in the game *insert sad face*

 

You can say "well then don't read/watch" but we all know with a game like this that's easier said than done... we all wouldn't be here on this particular section.

Already feeling annoyed in all honesty, a bit too much has been released I know there will still be a surprise in store but the start of the game was essentially told in the latest magazine preview, where does it end?

They were talking about the start of the Michael portion of the demo. The previewers don't know how the game starts, and some of them (and the people reading them) were stupid enough to think that Franklin jumping out of the plane was the start of the game, just because that's how the demo started.

 

In Michael's portion, he starts in the hotel at night and starts walking around, then does that paparazzi mission. I sincerely doubt that's the beginning of the game, and I almost guarantee you that those previewers don't know how the game actually starts and it was just a mistranslation.

Yeah they would never put something as significant as how the game first kicks off into those hands off demo's. they are mainly to show off the new look and mechanic. There would be minor circumstantial spoilers in order to show off something else, but nothing that big.
