MosquitoSmasher Posted August 10, 2013 Share Posted August 10, 2013 I was playing a mission in Hitman Absolution. A nice dark moody alley while it was raining, and at night. All very atmospheric and it got me to think about how i how the nighttime will be similar to this in GTA V in Los Santos. Oh i forgot to mention some very impressive neon lights from nightclubs and stuff too. We've seen very little of the nighttime in GTA V's trailers and screenshots so far. But with an open world like this, there's just so much potential. Hopefully will see some of these dark alleys and just narrow passages with nightclubs and some unsavoury people standing nearby and throwing insults at you. The nights in LC in IV weren't incredibly interesting, but Rockstar pretty much nailed it with TBOGT. The whole nightclub scene was done perfectly. So far the only night stuff we've seen is that one screen where we see the sea and some lightning too and that recent Franklin shot, right? Oh and his trailer and i believe trailer 2 as well, those car lights look a whole lot more realistic than IV, Hmmm...i guess we did see enough nighttime stuff after all. The shine of highly polished metal, the flash of headlights, tinted windows, roaring engines, screeching tires, police lights; the night is our natural habitat. I deffo gotta roll around all the areas at night to see what i can see and get up to. But yeah im gonna bust on the different gangs too, do some drive bys at house parties and all tht sht if u can. This I really hope there are clubs and things in downtown LS with lots of people about And in the ghettos, more gangs on the streets and general crime etc.. Crazy junkies, roving gangs. Definitely. But especially in areas where it would make sense to see some unfriendly folks hanging around. I really want to see more crimes happen in V anyway. I hope to see more criminal deeds by general pedestrians too. Maybe bring back car thieves from III, maybe have a random ped try to rob you or other peds, things like that. Maybe Midnight club is your game tho...... Nah I didn't like Midnight Club LA, the physics were all wrong (Which is a shame because MC2 and MC3 are some of my favourite games ever). With the advent of car customisation in GTA 5 I'm hoping it will scratch my itch. Franklin seems to be the racing guy, judging from the trailers. Cops after him, and you activate his ability and you'll make a sharp corner into some alley...and hopefully that means the line of sight system will do its job, meaning that cops wont know where you are. The lighting in that pic just looked R*-ish to me and I'm thinking now that it was legit. Anyone remember what pic I'm talkin' about?
