Emphasis93
In the 'Gameplay Video' we've seen last month, they showed us a clip of what I presume is the financial district. There were business men/women outside of a skyscraper and they were dressed in business attire. Most of the financial buildings in GTA IV were completely un enterable. I'd for one would love to be able to go into a skyscraper and just hang around an office or explore with the workers inside. Do you think Gta V is any different as in they'll have a good amount of enterable financial buildings and do you want there to be so?
epicluca
Most likely the ones we saw in the trailer, maybe the mile high club too. If GTA is bigger than RDR, SA and IV combined including underwater and interiors, the fact that they said that rather than just "bigger than those 3 games" they specified the interiors and underwater world which leads me to believe there'll be alot of interiors, and a few floors of skyscraper interiors. saintsrow
I also want to see a few good business office interiors. For some reason, since it is a familiar environment, hanging around in a virtual office floor is just interesting in a cognitive displacement kind of way. I replayed the Chinese Takeout mission in TBOGT a few times just to revisit the office interior there. A fringe benefit, if the GTAV skyscraper bank offices are full of Wall Street type suits, ripping off all of us former middle class peasants, I will also have fun walking in there and mowing them all down with my chaingun. BlademanX
"Assault on Wall Street" This storyline will have something do with banks ripping us off, The main antagonist has to be a bent politician in cohoots with the banks!!!

I couldn't agree more. As a gamer and a person that really enjoys simplistic activities I am sure hoping I can go into an office in a skyscraper and just look out those huge windows and admire the sun down while watching the city. saintsrow
In past work, I was involved in a few small projects where I built virtual control rooms and pseudo-office areas in Second Life and OpenSim for visualization, demonstration and simulated missions. It sounds mundane, but like I said, designing, experiencing and trying to emulate these realistic environments gives one an appreciation of how these virtual spaces get created, and you want to make the next one more realistic than the last one. So I like seeing similar work by the professionals. One of the earliest 3D games, some years before Wolfenstein 3D and Doom, was a first generation Apple Macintosh game called The Colony. It took place in interior labs and office spaces and was creepy and claustrophobic. I just like exploring those interior spaces (just as I like exploring the great virtual outdoors). EDIT: I should add, I also like the well-done interiors in Max Payne 3. Edited August 10, 2013 by saintsrow
