Official General
The answer to that ? I won't be buying a 360 that's for sure.
Gnocchi Flip Flops
I'd throw my f*cking controller into a wall and then send the PS3 back for the second time to get another one.
Sneakerhead.
I would flip sh*t because I pre-ordered/bought GTA V for PS3. I would then go Gamestop, and trade my PS3 copy of GTA V in for a 360 copy.
Grand Theft Savage
If any console malfunctions, I'll switch to its competitor as soon as possible. Direct answer - I have Xbox 360 and PS3, so if the PS3 got F'd up, I wouldn't even start tripping.
jpalmer2004
I think its time for some of you to go outside and play in the yard. Kick the ball around. Shoot some hoops, mow your parents lawn, play hop scotch, clean a car, paint your house, stare at the clouds and make objects out of them. There is so much out in the world for you to see!!! PLEASE! stop with the duplicate topics!

Carlover325
I'd probably have mine refurbished. I know several people that can fix them for about $80.
simonp92
My reaction would probably be the same no matter when the YLOD might occur. On setember 17th, 3 years ago or 3 years in the future. I won't be happy.
grandola
Ps3 owner... Didn't know what YLOD meant... Had to google it... I doubt it'll happen to me. I've have the first generation ps3 with 40 gigs... Still kicking. And last year I bought a new 250 gig one just for the space. I think I'm good. (Yea, I know I could have just upgraded the HD) Edit: If it did happen, I'd just put a new ps3 on my credit card.
UrbanTheEmcee
My Xbox 360 is on it's last leg, so the only reason I'm getting it for 360 is all my friends game on it. I know the YLOD exist, but I don't know anybody who's ever caught that sh*t. To me it's like whooping cough. So if I get that sh*t I'm f*cked. I'll just buy a used 360, because I'm getting the PS4 when it drops. No need to buy a used PS3.

Durden
My reaction would probably be the same no matter when the YLOD might occur. On setember 17th, 3 years ago or 3 years in the future. I won't be happy. f*ck that, I call bullsh*t. I highly doubt you'd be equally upset if you got YLOD today, as you would be if you got YLOD upon booting up V for the first time. And to those getting infuriated with this topic, you obviously fail to see the satire of this thread. Its basically a play on the RROD topic, as is obvious by the thread's description. The creator of that RROD topic was a moron for excluding the YLOD, and OP is exposing the stupidity of that. Anyways, I want to say that I won't whip my controller at the wall, but its easier said than done. If you want a practical answer instead of a goofy answer, I'd call up my friends to play V at one of their houses. First though, I'd research a possible solution to YLOD. If nothing works I'd buy a new ps3 the following day.

Yeah right, quit pulling "facts" out your ass(fanboy) they fixed the problem a while back , my disc drive is failing, i can't read dual layered blu ray discs anymore. If my disc drive fails to play single layered discs i'll just dl it off the ps store, if they dont have it on the ps store i'm getting a copy for my xbox 360 slim, i don't care as long as i'm playing it i don't have time for fanboy sh*t i game on both. kj2022
I'd get up, get the receipt from my console, walk the 0.2 miles to the store I bought it from, show them it's YLOD, they'd take the console, I'd get a new one, and we'd circumvent the issue. Alenko
If any of my systems suddenly got mangled that day, I'd just buy a new one. There's no way this will happen because I'm prepared for anything. I've waited almost 7 years for this game. NOTHING will go wrong.
