i made this thread as i just found this video

 

 

 

this was very useful to me as it shows the scale the new rage engine is capable of and how optimized it really is notice there litterally no popping anywhere at that height just flickering which i hope is gone in v

 

it also gives an impression what gta v might look like at that type of height it did remind me of what i can expect in gta v it also shows how long it actually takes to fall

 

i thought i'd share

Because a lot of things in GTA V are evolved features from RDR & MP3. Also, you don't think the ground at that height looks a lot like the high altitude aerial scenes in the trailers? Especially when Trevor drives out the back of a cargo plane.

It only feels big because you can travel only by horse or on foot.

I don't know. I can't imagine GTA V being 3.5 times bigger. Twice as big, maybe.

But we aren't talking about how big it feels here. We are seeing how large the map is from above, and it looks huge for any game, not just one that doesn't have any cars or planes etc.

 

 

@Gst0395 That is an official stat from R*. GTAV = 3.5x RDR. 5x when you include water. Forget how small the the fan made maps might look.

EDIT: I have returned after realizing that the internet doesn't work like that.

I didn't really run because if I DID run in that short period of time, I would be the f*cking Flash.

My brain has now told me that I can escape by closing this tab.

But my brain has stopped me from clicking, and has told me to start typing my extremely unrealistic story and share it over the internet.

My brain is now telling me that it's not telling me anything, and that I'm just doing that whole "My brain is" just for the hell of it.

And now I have spotted one of the many users with floozies as their profile pics and now I feel the urge to masturbate.

As I type this, my boner is going down, and I have an urge to listen to the "The Internet Is For Porn" song.

I must now leave, because I have already lied and pointed out my own lies enough.

The only thing that showed me is that rage engine is glitchy

the one in iv is a total mess textures dissappear completely this is greatly improved just the flickering that needs to be removed
