BLITZ PLAY mission details

I saw this magazine preview in other topic, so I did one just for the mission they played (Brazil Playstation Magazine)

 

 

"The mission starts with the 3 passing the plan in detail. After contacts between Michael and FIB, they want him to recover something valuable that is in a vehicle of IAA (Internal Affairs Agency).

The three wear mask, Trevor with Monkey, with Michael with Jason’s, and Franklin with the skull; the three go separately.

In the first half of the mission, you can’t change the characters, you have to follow with Michael, he drives a truck to a point indicated on the map, this is part of the preparations for the ambush, get to the point he parks aside on a single track road to block the path of the IAA’s vehicle.

The next task is to take Franklin, who is on a winch perfect for the unreel of the mission. Getting this done, we change to Trevor, who is at a high point and is monitoring the situation with a binocular to ensure the progress of the plan.

When Trevor sees the van of IAA (Target) approaching, Franklin is alerted, he hopes the truck stop because the truck Michael is blocking the passage of the van; Franklin goes with everything on top of the van, knocking it on the side.

After the van turned, Franklin go and plant a bomb in the back, then runs into a safe area and detonates the van with the X / A.

And after that, they collect what was desired, and in a few seconds SWAT vehicles and helicopter arrive at the site, and yes, now you will realize the usefulness of the exchange of characters; you can do the rest with just one character, but with the change of character, you will facilitate your mission enough.

Franklin is in a protected location with a machine gun, the same as Michael; Trevor is on higher ground with a rifle and grenade launchers to cover.

For two minutes you will stay in that exchange with the three of them, while killing lot’s of enemies, when for example, you are with the Franklin and an enemy is getting too close to him, but in cover, in a way that Franklin does not have angle (!), you can switch to Trevor, who is angled to hit the target.

When you find that the helicopter is becoming too dangerous, you can change to Trevor and use the grenade launcher in helicopter, with only one shot.

When the last enemy is dead, Trevor warns you that no one else are there, via the headset, and now comes the time to erase all evidence of their involvement in this crime; as Franklin is the beginner, he’s responsible for cleaning up the mess.

He enters the truck Michael was driving and take it to a distant location where they had planned to burn the truck; obviously planning to have left a car there for Franklin’s.

 

Although it seems a mission “straight to the point”, to get this mission players have done a lot, and the masks and winch used were conquered in other missions."

It may have been (mostly) stuff we already know or assumed, but still a good read. Sounds pretty identical to that first scene of Heat.

The garbage truck is looking a bit too small or the tow truck is looking too big. Besides the proportions the screen is nice.

I actually never knew this mission was for the FIB - I thought it was a heist mission. So, thanks for posting, OP.

 

I also love how similar this mission is to the Heat scene. It's a great tribute to a great movie.

Sounds a little hectic tho with managing and monitoring three characters amid all that.

 

But it sounds fun and a nice little tribute to Heat!

So those images are supposed to be going along with the description rite? Meaning they are from the mission..

 

This goes along with everyone saying that most of what they are showing us is from like 1 or 2 same missions but they show us in different videos and viewpoints...rite?

this is just wrong...it´s MICHAEL who plants the bomb...you can see it in the michael charakter trailer.

Thats a beautiful pic.

 

Thats one spot I'm going to try and find when the game is released, bet there is a helluva view from up there.

Thanks for posting op. I like how you have to dispose of the evidence, like the truck.
