MosquitoSmasher
Some people say Rockstar only shows the best version of the game. But if some other people are right in their assumption that Sony is paying Rockstar to advertise the PS3 version more, it wouldn't surprise me if that deals means...mostly showing the PS3 version to press as well. I'd be very surprised (and disappointed, cause 360 is my console of choice and rather not buy it for my PS3) if the 360 version ends up being significantly less good. It would be the very first time in this console generation. I don't remember anymore. But did the 360 version of IV got advertised more than the PS3 version at the time? I do find it a bit annoying how you barely see the 360 logo at all in these ads...come on man. Edited August 10, 2013 by MosquitoSmasher

Raavi
I never quite got the hate among console users, it's not like Sony or Microsoft is paying any of you to promote their product. If you bought a PS3, fine, bought a XBOX360 ditto. It's just a damn console. OT: I sure hope not, both PS3 and XBOX360 users should get access to the same content at the same time. – overeducated wonk who fetishises compromise

Kevstyle
I think the PS3 will get the DLC first, then on xbox later. And the only reason why Playstation is all over the advertisements is Sony paying Rockstar to advertise the PS3 more. yes, if its Timed DLC ps3 COULD get it first but after that xbox also.. It wont be "Exclusive" Because that would lower R* marketing sales.
Red Hat
R* advertised GTA IV for Xbox360 more than that of PS3..so i think this time they are doing the opposite...
Quackerz Gamerz
As an Xbox owner, sure I'd like to have the DLC as soon as possible, but as said on the first page in this topic, GTA is more Playstation than Xbox, and to be honest I think we deserve to wait for DLC, just as PS3 and PC users did for TLaD and TBoGT. rubix99
Well since Grand Theft Auto V is going to be my final Xbox 360 purchase I must defend the 360 as I love it and it definately IS the best console of this current generation. And I am so glad I did not waste money on the PS3 that 90% of the time got the rubbish weaker conversions of games......especially when it came to games such as Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Half Life 2: Orange Box and Crysis 2 etc. I dont regret owning the 360 and its been a superb console all round. Unfortunately I will have to abandon Microsoft come next generation and return to Sonys loving arms. Reason outlined here So see all you Sony fans in a few years when we all unite under the marvel that will be the Playstation 4.

Geralt of Rivia
Even if it is timed-exclusive, it doesn't matter much to me. Since there won't be any more episodic content, the DLC won't be worth it until they announce how awesome it is. Plus, I got everything I need with the Special Edition. tl;dr, Unless DLC is good, I don't give a sh*t.

PS3 versions of the Assassin's Creed series receives bouns 1h long missions. The PS3 version of Red Dead Redemption had an exclusive gang hideout and an outfit? Rebel
Man good job I switched from the 360 to PS3 haha. Seriously though, even if an exclusive DLC hit on PS3 before Xbox they've just paid a butt load of money to make that happen. Its not like people had to wait long for IV's DLC to come to PS3 after it got released first on Xbox.

WorldWideFM
We'd have heard about it first if this were true. Sony is clearly paying a lot of money (as Microsoft did for IV) to have the GTA V marketing PS3-based, and exclusive GTA V DLC would shift both a lot of systems and a lot of PS3 copies of the game. It's marketing gold, so we'd have heard about it so far if it were the case.

Reason outlined here So see all you Sony fans in a few years when we all unite under the marvel that will be the Playstation 4. Or....you know...you could just wait and see how everything goes. I'm getting so tired of this blind faith that a sh*tload of people all of a sudden have put into Sony. Don't forget that its mosty just words and promises from Sony so far. Don't forget that Sony is no stranger to making big promises but failing on them miserably. I highly prefer my 360 over my PS3 and that never changed. I just trust MS a whole lot more when it comes to online gaming, services and support, so there's very little reason to 'choose' Sony this time. If i have to guess...X1 will be my console of choice once again and PS4 will be for the exclusives. And if i were you....i wouldn't rush making decisions like these. Look at the launch lineup of X1 so far and compare it to PS4.....nuff said afaic. There have been analysis articles on PS4 and X1 games and the X1 exclusives all had a smooth 60fps framerate and little to no graphical problems. Killzone, Knack and Driveclub on the other hand suffered from a very unstable framerate which dipped into the 20s and plenty graphical errors. Read Digital Foundry on that. This doesn't mean the final products will be like that, but what i'm saying is....careful with how much faith you put into PS4. Marvel? Yeah ok....we'll just wait and see. I like MS more in that way, less bragging, more show and then tell. Edited August 10, 2013 by MosquitoSmasher

MosquitoSmasher
Hasn't Dan Houser said before that in the end the DLCs for GTAIV weren't worth it? Or something along those lines? Isuck100%
If Sony had acquired exclusive DLC for GTA V, we would have without a doubt heard of it by now. The whole point of acquiring this content is to persuade people to buy your version of the game. The game is out in one month. When GTA IV was first announced at Microsoft's E3 2006 press conference, the exclusive DLC was announced in the same sentence, when the game was still 17 months from its original release date. I doubt the PS3 version even has a small exclusive in the box like the extra case for L.A. Noire or the small bonus in RDR. If they had, it would have been announced at their recent E3 press conference when they talked about GTA V. If you noticed, almost all the multiplatform presentations at their show ended with the announcement of exclusive content for the PS3 version. Nothing for GTA V though, except the console bundle and headphones.

Gamescom is just over a week away and starts four weeks from release and that's still plenty of time, if there's any sort of exclusivity deal they'll mention it there. The Microsoft deal was completely different and the situation behind it was too. T2/Rockstar didn't even announce the PS3 version of RDR getting the extra hideout and outfit and it only came out after the games were shipped to stores and took a photo of one. Like I've said, I doubt it'll be anything substantial if there is anything at all.
