ViXeNoVa
I've been thinking a lot about this lately, What happens in-game when Michael beats his family? Let's say for example, Michael returns home after a night of driving around and sits down to watch TV. Suddenly, he gets up from the couch and puts Tracy in a headlock as she walks by. When Amanda walks by and tries to reprimand Michael, he grabs her by the back of the head and slams it through a glass coffee table. Then, in a fit of rage, he goes up into Jimmy's room, smashes his television, and slaps his son silly. Michael then leaves home to go for burgers & root beer and to calm down. My question is, though, what happens after that? Will they respawn next time you enter Michael's mansion and act like nothing happened, or will they be gone and hiding out somewhere else in town, fearing for their safety? Is it bad that I found that entirely funny? Nope. Because I did
CallCenterZombie
Like in a cutscene or...? Not a cutscene, in-game. I don't think R* are trying to advocate family violence, UT. You will only see this stuff in cutscenes not actual gameplay.

There was going to be a sex minigame, uncensored, in San Andreas, before that was cut, and they STILL got sued. There's already family violence in RDR, for pure fun. Because Rockstar games are made for pure fun. Rockstar games doesn't advocate anything. Grand Theft Auto was made for chaos, not censorship. Is it bad that I found that entirely funny? Probably. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an abusive dude who did that to his family, straight down to a "T". Are you implying that there should have been children in GTAIII? And RDR didn't include family violence 'just for fun', the game deliberately made it difficult for you to harm your family, and if you manage to kill either of them the game just killed you and you respawn from an earlier save. Travís.
Just because this happens to people 'you know' doesn't mean it will on a game, but it might, I won't really care.
brwhizz
Maybe there will be a 'family abuse' mini-game: If you can make your wife cower in fear you win $100; $200 for causing a family member to 'fall' down the stairs.
Maggot899
Good job UT, I actually like this thread. I was wondering about this, because I planned on taking Michael home in a beat up Sabre, tattooed up and in his underwear, with a hooker in the car and just beating Amanda senseless. universetwisters
ForTezz
*Sits down on the coach* *Turns on TV* *See's wife walking by* *Takes her head, and smashes into table* really ? lol
alex3
You probably can't aim at one of your family members, but im sure you can throw a grenade into Jimmy's room when he's gaming, and he'll end up in the hospital.

Thanks for the suggestion I was gonna do the same, but wear a stained tank top and ragged jeans. Weather or not the hooker in question will be passenger seat or the trunk will be up for debate.
