R* should add, not replace. this is really what i was thinking. i mean, they spent time putting in these activities into IV. i don't think anyone would be up in arms if they were brought back. Well they have a stealth skill, which makes me believe there is something equivalent to crouch, and you may be on to something in thinking it's related to the cover buttons Or the cover could be automatically, kinda like Tomb Raider. But i hope we can just sneak/crouch whenever we want and not only when the game tells we can. I agree about bowling, pool and darting. But by the sounds of things so far it seems like those are gone and replaced with other minigames. It would be a bummer but not a huge deal for me. That sound little strange. maybe a starting a mission requires certain amounts of money, you get it from doing the heists Maybe they meant that there are other heists that aren't apart of the main story that are dynamic? They are like the heist in San Andreas. You didn't have to do those missions to plan and then pull off that heist at Caligula's to complete the story. It's probably like that. Heists are like an activity - a side string of things to do, something a bit more exciting than parachuting or yoga I guess. The idea is to make sure you can afford to them I suppose - a costly afair that can get you big bucks to spend, but not required to play the game through/can save them for last probably if you want. Although, R* has said that the story revolves around a series of heists. I believe they mentioned that it works in that way instead of a "linear progression", however. There's probably some heist-like things we can do outside of the story mode, but the 6 BIG heists are definitely part of the story missions, even if that means story missions work differently than we're used to.
