Me too, i just think it's a translation problem, maybe they're saying the storyline wide open, not only focused on heists, but all the problems and bs who can attach with it. The obvious overarching narrative to GTAV has to do with the three teaming up to engage in heists, however I believe that's just smoke that will cloak the core of what the narrative is really about; because how interesting can a 20 hour video game be if it just follows three characters attempting to score big on multiple heists? lolphil Posted August 10, 2013 Author Share Posted August 10, 2013 For those questioning the veracity of the infos, it's in the playstation magazine brasil issue of this month, it's only in portuguese and i said that i translated it quickly with google translator, making a 100% accurate translations is not only translating the words, maybe something passed mistranslated because of the interpretation of the sentence, it's a big think when translating english to portuguese, and i think it's the same way with every language, but i think you guys get the essence, any questions feel free to ask me, i couldn't pre order 'cause it was already out of stock, but tomorrow i'm hitting downtown to check it in every newstand and market. The only thing Rockstar told about old stuff is that virtually no old characters will appear in this era. Secondly, the info about Michael starting OFF in the DEMO -- not the whole f*cking game -- is misleading. Its funny how you trying to act smart... There is some new info /end. Then take the effort and read through the list of already "confirmed" informations here on the forums and on GTAV.net. Why would I try to act smart at a place where people like you are? I'm not trying to prove anything, but common sense and also the effort to look up information nowadays is just f*cking rare. And that's a problem. Also.. read the first post. Is it correctly composed to you? Don't tell me it's not confusing.. Thirdly: This is not official, and they did see the same demo as every other magazine, which either means that they are just guessing that Grove Street Families is back, or it could mean that there was indication in the demo of them being apparent in GTA V, which would mean that SOME other magazines have already pointed that out. Also about bus routes... in one of the latest articles, it was mentioned that Rockstar haven't decided yet that they will be in the final version of the game -- as means of transportation. Don't get your hopes up about seeing CJ's house in the game or anything ridiculous like that. The blueprint already confirms that. Inb4 someone quotes me with a blueprint and highlights the cul-de-sacs. The point is they've spoken about this side mission where Michael has to rescue this celebrity from the paparazzi. Michael won't live in a hotel at the start of the story - it wouldn't make much sense - he's got family! It wouldn't work out. IT'S LOST IN TRANSLATION or the guys who saw the preview were mislead by the fact that if you change to another character there's always sth new going on and the character is somewhere else where you have last controlled him. They had to get the name from somewhere, right? And no one can bring up the whole "HD era is completely different from 3d era" thing because they kept the name Los Santos, so why wouldnt they keep the name Grove Street? It does seem odd to move the horn off L3/LS, who knows what they've done with the camera controls but R3/RS made more sense IMO for the special ability though that would replace looking behind you quickly or that could be the horn now depending on the camera changes, do hope the camera is better than IV's as I had to always keep moving it up a bit thanks to it strictly following behind the character. They could have moved the horn to one of the face buttons though. I wouldn't complain about dumping the cinematic camera button and another could be freed up from only having one button used for the hand brake. Plus does anyone care that much about the low/high beam functionality of IV? Not as if it ever got so dark you couldn't see anyway. That could free up a third button as we already know weapon switching will be different and the same button used on foot will probably be used in car this time.
