C4RR4NZ4 Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 So, I have presently pre-ordered the Special edition of GTA V, however it really bugs me that Collectors edition has two extra DLC items that I want so I can feel my GTA V is complete in-game. However since CE is priced at $150 ($70 more than SE) I was wondering. Will I be able to buy CE edition and manage to sell on Ebay the *New Era 9FIFTY™ Snapback Cap and the *Security Deposit Bag with Logo Key in order to get back my $70 or even more? By the way, I can afford the CE edition but I don't want to throw so much $ away on this game just for those 2 items. I want to save as much as I can for more important necessities. Carlover325 Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 I'm just going to wait until it comes out as DLC on PSN store. I know it isn't confirmed, but there's like a 99% chance. It may be several months, but I can wait. I also cannot justify spending that kind of money on the CE. I'm just getting the regular $60 game. All the physical extras are just junk to me. The stupid swag gear is already overpriced to begin with; nobody's going to buy it secondhand. Anybody who would be willing to pay for that nonsense will just have bought the CE. But if you dont want these than I'll recommend SE because the cap and security bag will not be worth more than 70$, Or you will wait months untill the prize rises. Special Edition content might become DLC!!! Collectors not Its like the most videogames... If you want the CE or SE, then that's up to you, but if you're only buying it for stuff that will be released later, I think it's pointless. I was going back and forth with this issue for awhile, but I just think the game will have so much content, we won't care about the extra content until it's released as DLC. If you only want Special Edition DLC and not the extra cars and character(s) then its safe to buy SE or Standard But I bet CE DLC won't be downloadable. Only special and some other. I'm not sure how many months since I didn't buy them, but they got released like multiple people mentioned. This is Rockstar's attempt at grabbing some more money, all the digital content will be released some months later as DLC for $5-15. If I were you I'd just get standard edition, simply not to support the "cutting game content to sell for more $$$" bullsh*t that's going on lately. Yeah, i thought the same plus I remember reading somewhere that Rockstar did already confirm that they said they had no plans currently to release the DLC later and the only way to secure the DLC was through pre-ordering.
