[SA] Additional Weapons spawn Cleo mod

alright time for

 

Version 4 removed for update

 

It adds in a number of previous weapons I have taken out along with a few new weapons and spawn points... Also check near Angel Pine for a few surprises ;)

  • Foam FInger - (Look near Sports stadiums)
  • Hammer - Can be found near construction sites and recycling centers
  • Colt Python - Emmet is said to keep one
  • Skorpion - Look around Ganton/Willowfield
  • GTA III Shotgun - Can be found in the Police Building
  • Silenced Uzi - Col. Furberger keeps one close to his house (From the robbing uncle sam mission)
  • AUG, M16, M249, M60 - Can all be found in the National Guard Base

I am working on a cleo mod that spawns additional weapons all across the map using the weapon Limit Adjuster by Ryosuke... Originally The WLA came with a cleo that spawns all the weapons when you type a word, but I felt that doing that takes away from the game and that it should be so that you would have to find weapon pick ups just like with the other weapons...

I am planning on adding atleast 60 additional weapons to SA... all scattered in logical areas across the map... biggrin.gif its kinda the only thing i can do at the moment without access to my comp (using old xp comp for it and uploading it through library comp)

good idea, have you tested all of those weapons? I used to have added weapons but they tended to act weird - you couldn`t make a head shot and sometimes peds died not like they were shot but like they had drowned. Do you have the same errors?

Really nice idea. But, can you put them in places like the police stations and military bases? At least the high tech weaponry should.

 

Also, is it not possible to add a menu inside of ammunation which is just like the one when you're buying weapons? So you go to a second marker inside an ammunation and a menu pops up with all the guns that you add, when you select one it takes money away from you depending on its price.

yea I tested them, they all work well ingame, have yet to run into any errors monocle.gif

currently on my version of SA i have over 150 diff weapons... which all work fine

It's a bug of the limit adjuster itself. Nothing you can do about it.

after installing all components of the mod I get a message: number of "weapons.txt" lines not matched. It happens everytime I try to run the game. Any idea why?

It's a bug of the limit adjuster itself. Nothing you can do about it.

yea, there are alot of bugs with it, which is why I want to release a pre modified version for the people who cant get it to work

And once I run out of ammo with that gun, I'm pretty f*cked right? I have to go re-pick it up again? Or are all weapon-type ammo's "hot-swappable"? Any SMG ammo can go with any SMG type thing?

Im just using the basic weapon sounds for each (like The MP5k uses MP5 sounds while SP89 uses Tec9)

 

and they should be hot swappable (SMG ammo for SMG class and so on)

Working on 2 different versions...

 

One for GTA San Vice/Vice City Recover

 

and another for GTA SALC Beta 7

 

I might also do one for a few Total Conversions (maybe even United sarcasm.gif ) but for now this is all im doing

Is there another way to get those guns except running through whole San Andreas and hoping to see one? There's none of them in AmmuNation and I can't spawn them with a Weapon Spawner CLEO script barf8bd.gif

Im working on getting them into ammunation... but until then just look around LS... they arent scattered all around SA, just in LS and Angel Pine...

327, gun_boxwee, gun_boxwee, colt45, 1, 50, 0

328, gun_boxbig, gun_boxbig, null, 1, 50, 0

#340, skateboard, skateboard, null, 1, 50, 0

345, missile, missile, null, 1, 100, 0 - This one would make a funny weapon  devil.gif

 

And here is what has the most unused guns:

fingers are fist from VC (they needed to code it as a weapon), ingramsl is just regular ingram from gta vc (I still dont know why its named ingram-silenced, im guessing it was meant to be silenced but someone overlooked it), minigun is VC minigun, laser is PSG-1, buddyshot is the best GTA weapon ever aka stubby shotgun. user posted image basically same thing as VCS stubby but it has different model and texture.

working on a few more versions...

 

One for San Vice... which will include all Vice City weapons plus extra... (hoping someone could provide me with a AUG hud Icon in VC style because the one i made sucks)

 

 

 

One for TTDISA that replaces mission weapons aswell

Ima borrow the VC 10th anniversary hud from xemopeth or how ever you spell it for the United version (gonna pm him about it before i get started)

 

and for the san vice mod i plan on adding 80s weapons... weapons that were big in 80s action movies wink.gif

 

i made my own ingram icon and ingramsl icon tounge.gif

Haven't really played much of SA, and probably won't until HRT and/or SA::Render is released..
