hellohi
What will you be doing first? I'm just gonna jump right into free mode, then play ranked matches maybe. I'm so excited for multiplayer :-) So many nostalgic memories from multiplayer, so many cool people met.. reminds me of Highschool. Also nice since we will be able to play ranked Team Deathmatch. It slowly died off unfortunately when people stopped playing.
Reedseed12345
I always do story first and eventually when I'm bored I do a race or free roam
Sticky Pads
Multiplayer free roam first for me. I love the unfamiliarity and sense of wonder that comes with the first experience being plopped down in some random location. Multiplayer free roam was the first thing I did in RDR, and I started out as a fat Mexican on a donkey under the arch in Mexico. I'll never forget that moment. I'll jump into singleplayer pretty quickly, but honestly the stoyline isn't the most interesting thing to me. The main reason I play the story is for the way it introduces game mechanics and also takes you around the map. I end up seeing more that way, and knowing how to play the game more fully. StillKronic
At midnight I will hop on story for like 12-14 hours then check out multiplayer
BeardedxMic
I'm still trying to figure that out. It all depends on how much energy I have when I get home at 2 am from the midnight release. I think Multi if I've got energy, and single if I'm kind of tired.
Hodgey.
Ill be doing the story first and then multiplayer once i have completed the stroy. I felt that i rushed GTA IV storyline so this time i plan on taking my time because the multiplayer can wait as i will probably have 4 - 5 years to play it before the next GTA is released. cp1dell
Singleplayer of course. GTA was never about the multiplayer. I don't care how good GTA: Online is, too many games slap on a gimmicky multiplayer mode and put no effort into single player nowadays. Stupid bullsh*t. Lol I only play for multiplayer too, then after a while I'll complete the story like I did with V. I played GTA multiplayer somewhere around Summer of 2008ish to mid/late 2009 when the CD broke. It was really fun and I was young lol(Sophmore-Junior) and I have a lot of nostalgic memories that remind me of highschool. I remember in the Summer playing till 2-3 in the morning, then waking up at like 11-12 am. Met quite a few cool people in GTA too that I still keep in touch with but a lot of them, I don't know where they are. I also remember playing ranked Team Death Match around Christmas time lol. It is a very fun game, especially free mode where you can chase people around town and act crazy and I can't wait to plaaaay. I'm 19 now so I'll have more time, maybe I'll be able to actually rank up to 10 this time. Green pick me up, I'm at the airport!! Lol
Mushtang73
I'll play the story first then multi so no one spoils anything. Like someone says "i can't believe micheal shot franklin and then trevor did a backflip into a jet and flew into the sun" or something like that over voice chat. I have so many memories of RDR multiplayer free roam, unique memories shared with other people. Like the time a friend I met on the RDR forums met me online, showed me a secret way up onto a mesa you can't normally get to, and we watched an amazing sunset as other players had shootouts below. Exploring glitches in the Blackwater bank with other forum members. Giving a pack of kids my zebra donkey over and over because it made them so incredibly happy. That's why I love multiplayer - unscripted unique interactions with real people, stuff that really sticks with you.

nosyd
Story all the way for me. No interest in multiplayer. If I could by the game cheaper for not including multiplayer I would. The same goes for most games. It just doesn't do anything for me.
