Hunting is still going on everywhere in The country, it didn't go away with the old west. Hunting season just opened here in FL. So I doubt that's something they will pursue. Now, I'm not trying to argue, but the dogs and cats they killed might have been put down for humane reasons. I don't know much information on it but I don't really like judging from things out of context. Not only GTA, but if we take a look at Rockstars other titles, almost all of their games are reprehensible. With the new hunting system, the list will only increase. Although they have implemented hunting before in RDR but got away with it (because of the setting). But what about now? Will PETA interfere? I guess the answer is pretty obvious. I'm actually pretty surprised PETA hasn't said anything about it as of now. I read an article where PETA supposedly complained about whaling in Ubisoft's upcoming title AC: Black Flag. Interestingly they haven't uttered a word about GTA V. Maybe Rockstar has somehow temporarily suppressed them? What do you think? They're just as violent as people that kill animals. They riot on a regular basis which gets NOTHING done. Change of any kind shouldn't have any violence in it, but Peta oh ya...they feel they have no choice but to violently protest or whatever. And when they attack video games I feel its a little over the top. A game is a game, I don't like the idea of hunting in V but I am not bitching about it. I have never attacked a game for its content. Because I know the difference between reality and make believe. lol They are just as bad as the mothers out there that attack R* for its violence in general. That is just as bad. I all the way through this topic... I'm definitely against the inhumane treatment of humans or animals. An animal has no soul however and if it comes down to human/vs/animal, I'm definitely going to save a human life before an animal's life. I'd be more concerned about people suffering than that lobster boiling in my pot over there... Would I chase animals w/ electrified pokers and stab at them just for kicks, no but I also wont starve myself of meats because I'm afraid that a cow in a field somewhere has negative feelings about ending up on my dinner plate, that maybe she wants to pursue a doctorate degree and contribute to the study's of electromechanical engineering. Dont think I wouldnt take down a 100 cows (and plants) to feed hungry people. Curiously, what about that PETA?! What about the grass we mow, poison ivy we spray w/ round-up?! The carrots we slice up?! Can't hear their screams either. What about what we consider to be harmful bacteria?! They're all living, breathing organisms too....
