Not only GTA, but if we take a look at Rockstars other titles, almost all of their games are reprehensible. With the new hunting system, the list will only increase. Although they have implemented hunting before in RDR but got away with it (because of the setting). But what about now? Will PETA interfere? I guess the answer is pretty obvious. I'm actually pretty surprised PETA hasn't said anything about it as of now. I read an article where PETA supposedly complained about whaling in Ubisoft's upcoming title AC: Black Flag. They have zero authority and power to do anything with this and what little good they've done is negated by the overwhelming bullsh*t they've pulled over the years. This stuff only serves one purpose and that's to bring more attention to themselves. They won't be able to resist so just wait until the game is out. And they are focusing they're marketing to children, which is sick. Also, PETA has two faces.. They "euthanize" animals they have taken into custody. Out of 760 dogs impounded, they killed 713, arranged for 19 to be adopted, and farmed out 36 to other shelters (not necessarily “no kill” ones). As for cats, they impounded 1,211, euthanized 1,198, transferred eight, and found homes for a grand total of five. PETA also took in 58 other companion animals — including rabbits. I think it's disgusting and offensive towards the families of those poor people to compare human life to animals (go look up their 'holocaust on a plate' ad and you'll see what I mean). If you wear anything that even remotely resembles fur they'll throw paint at you in the street to deliberately vandalize and damage your clothing. And while they're busy publicity whoring and prancing around attacking video games that simulate the hunting of non-exsitent digital animals in a fictional world, there are actual whales being harpooned in the real world. How about putting their time and money into saving them for once if they care so much for animal rights? Sorry to say this but PETA are nothing but a bunch of FASCIST THUGS who care nothing for animals and just want publicity and total control! I absolutely HATE - and i meant hate to the point i could cause physical harm to - the people that put animal lives above humans', especially in games; why is it acceptable to kill hundreds of cops or soldiers or other human enemies, even maybe mutilating them, but kick a chicken and all of a sudden there's an outcry. pathetic. I hope PETA stay silent for their sake. If they try anything, what's going to happen? The government says "LETS BAN A MULTIMILLION DOLLAR INCOME TO PLEASE SOME CHARITY THAT GENERATE NO ECONOMICAL REVENUE" It's like me walking up to EA and asking: "Please make decent, well produced and well supported games" What's going to happen?
