Mr_Goldcard Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 Like in GTA IV when I first played multiplayer the islands were unlocked and I had not even unlocked them in single player mode, it kinda spoiled the game for me. Now I know the whole map will be unlocked in V but theres still other things that can kinda spoil the game for you, or even other players spoiling the storylone so will you guys stay away from it or still play it the first day? But I will only get online only if my friends ask me to. I like to complete single player first. If I get stuck on a mission in single player, I might peep GTA online. Talib Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 Finish the story first then and cut off all ties, including family, friends, and goldfish. Never hit the Multiplayer option until you finish the story completely, then hop on multiplayer and be blown away exactly the same way when you start playing SinglePlayer. Create your character(if you can) and hop on a free roam and see what you can do. If you don't play with friends immediately, hit up the Team Deathmatch. Online will likely be joke mode after thought as it always has been. It's fun for children who can't free roam with friends in real life, but outside of that it's weak. When I get V the following Friday I'll definitely head over to multiplayer after I get started just to see what it's like. I give online in games a chance in a attempt to make a game last longer for me. Most the time it doesn't as I get bored fast with it and end up going back to single player. With that said Red Dead Redemption had a good free roam mode and I'm hoping V improves on that. Only time will tell but single player is my main reason to play any game. I'm confident it will be an amazing experience online, I really hope they have something similar to mafiya work again that game was f*cking awesome. (collecting everything too etc etc) I'm still rockin multi-player into the 5000 hour point and you reckon people that play multi-player are less fans? Man that logic is f*cked up. OT - I'll be on multi-player asap. I prefer playing with my friends and other people. I am in a bit of a predicament though... will we gain stuff for mp in sp? Darrel Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 Singleplayer first, but considering Gta iV took me one month to complete the story, who knows when i will get online. I will not rush the story line. Online mutiplayer isnt going anywhere, but people who play online straight away tend to not go back to the story or feels its a chore to go back to singleplayer because they are addicted to the online.
