id15failure
I tried the fix (uninstalled and reinstalled live five times) and I still get this error. Any other fixes?
Miro
Are you using any mods or cracks? Where do you have the game from? Are you playing with the original DVD in your Drive? Try to install the Games for Windows Live Update, this might fix it. In case it doesn't try to also install the GTA IV Patch 1.0.7.0 & the .NET Framework 3.5. In case that doesn't work, do the following steps: Uninstall the game. Delete any leftover files from the game folder. Reinstall the game. Delete all files from the Settings folder (choose the right directory depending on your Operating System): Windows XP SP3 - C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\Settings Windows Vista - C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\SettingsWindows 7 - C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\Settings In case nothing works, try this solution by Rockstar Games themselves. I hope this does help you. Dead (Retired)
