I know but i was too young to play the older GTA games and understand them and from what i read and heard GTA SA is the best so far GTA V will destroy it (i hope)

I voted for GTA IV mainly because I still have fun playing online. San Andreas is a close second. If it was all about single player, San Andreas wins by far.

I voted IV, because there was no "the most recent" option. GTA games are so good, it's only technology that holds them back. The pool of ideas is endless & only the technology at the time holds it back. The most recent GTA is always the most playable for me.

San Andreas. What other game has actual bigfoot and UFO myths? What other game lets you steal jetpacks? What other game has jets and flowers as a melee weapon? This has so much stuff to do that it's mind boggling.

 

IV was good, don't get me wrong. It had great physics, great graphics, and an okay story. But there was no area variety, and most of the side things like bigfoot hunting and UFO spotting and base jumping and riding an ATV over a huge gorge were replaced with bowling, darts, and strip clubs. I can play darts in real life, I can't exactly fly a fighter jet or spot real UFOS.

Oh come on!!! It has to be 1997's Grand Theft Auto who hasn't tried to play the other games with camera on top view. That means even with greater graphics and all that, the original is better

You must be mentally retarded if you think GTA London 1961 & 1969 actually released in the 60s. IV was set in 2007/8 and released in early 2008, but that doesn't mean if a game set in 1911 (like RDR2) released in 1911...
